NCLEX-RN shut off at 75, had 30 SATA!?!

I took the NCLEX-RN this morning. It shut off at 75. I had 30 SATA and 2 med calc questions. I feel pretty good about it b/c all the questions were "high level" questions, but man! Some of those questions were crazy! Anyhoo, I have to wait 48 hrs to get my results :eek: I'm just glad I got it over with!!! :chuckle

Anyone else take it recently who had so many SATA??

Way to go!! I hope to join you in the happy dance come Friday at 5pm!

Congrats Everyone!!! I also PASSED. I was convinced that I hadn't and cried when I found out! What a relief. My mom is an RN and she had her mother open her letter from when she took the boards... and I had my mother check for me. It was pretty awesome! I think my mom felt honored that I wanted he to check and I knew that if I hadn't passed she would be the best person to tell me. She knew how hard I studied (she takes care of my son when I am at school or work) and how much this meant to me because she went through it herself.

Congratulations new RNs!

I also had 75 questions with 20+ SATA questions...I freaked out (and am still freaking out since I get the results tomorrow morning 8 am). I don't remember much of the test...I know I had some priority, teaching, and a handful of infection. I can only remember a few that I got wrong, and am super nervous. I hope that I didn't totally bomb this... Wish me luck that I passed! :confused:

Okay I think my brain is fried from taking the NCLEX today but it took me five stinking minutes to figure out what SATA meant, lol!

Now that I figured that out, I also had what seemed like a full half the questions were SATA, two med math Qs, and several prioritization Qs a lot like I had in school, "If you had these pts which would you assess first..."

Feeling a bit shellshocked, but should know tomorrow mid morning how I did. Either I will be working all day or punching out and going home jobless after results..... Not sure if I will sleep tonight!

congrats to all who passed so far!!!

i took nclex today at 2 and it shut off at 75 as well. i didnt count exactly how many SATA i had but i know i had a LOT. i also had 3 of the most ridiculous drug calc problems ever. they made my head hurt just working them out and i never had trouble with calcs in school...

i also had a few drugs and diseases that were totally out there so far that my friend who is a PA has not even heard of them. wow.

also, lots of prioritization, infection control, and i found it strange how many LEGAL questions i had. must have been not so good at those as they kept reappearning...

hope to find out that i passed tomorrow! if not, im off on a three week vacation to get over it (or to celebrate pending outcome) and drink ireland and england dry if the news is negative...:smokin:
