  1. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!:yeah::yeah:
  2. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
  3. Nope, I tested in Florida. But like I said before...I honestly thought that there was NO WAY I had passed. I didn't feel 100% confident on any of the answers. HONESTLY! So, take a deep breath, and take a step back. You graduated from nursing school. so the knowledge is in your brain! RIGHT? You will be fine. I'm sending prayers your way.
  4. december2905: I felt the exact same way after testing! Keep your head up! My license posted today (I tested Friday!) It's going to be okay! You know more than you think..so stay positive!!
  5. I am totally with BabySweetPea! She put it perfectly! I think nursing school probably prepared us to take this test; and we have more in our brains than we believe. Keep your heads up and your hearts faithful, people! It can be done!! Kierstan, RN
  6. All I can offer you is my experience!! I took the NCLEX on Friday morning at 8am. I had 75 questions and it took me just over an hour. I had what seemed like 30 meds/teaching about meds questions. 2 med calcs, 5-7 SATA and alot of priority/infection control. It seemed like they were easy questions, but with NO easy answers!! I walked out of there relatively certain I had failed. I found out yesterday (exactly 48 hours later) that I had PASSED!! Keep a positive outlook, and don't make yourself sick with the stress of the wait! Good luck, and I'll keep you in my prayers.
  7. My prayers are with you.
  8. Congrats Crazylilkelly! I PASSED ALSO!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I DON'T NEED TO BE STUDYING RIGHT NOW!! Thanks to everyone for the support and prayers!! I AM SO HAPPY I NEVER HAVE TO TAKE THAT TEST AGAIN!!! Yayyyyyy!
  9. I passed! 75 questions, 65 minutes...and I'm an RN!! Woot-Woot!!!
  10. Well, either in this thread or in one of the others, one of the moderators said we can find out on Sunday from Pearson Vue. ($7.95) If I have to wait until Tuesday, my family will disown me! I just want to sit in my sitting room and read a book for PLEASURE!!!!
  11. I'm with you, Crazylilkelly!! I walked out of there in a DAZE!! Had a TON of meds teaching questions, alot of priority, 5-6 SATA (that seemed like they should be easy to answer, but weren't to me), 2 med calcs... I'm praying for you...With any luck, we will be in the 85% who pass on the first try. Are you in a quick results state so you can find out your result tomorrow? Take care!!
  12. Congrats, Congrats WDWpixieRN!!! I am sooo happy for you! Send some good vibes my way...I am definitely in need of GOOD VIBES! Weird thing is, the lady at the check-in desk was all sweet when I first got there. Then, when the test was over, it was like she wouldn't meet my eyes. Do they actually know the results immediately? Anyone know the answer to that question????
  13. I've already posted this on another thread, but wow, my mind is BLOWN!!! 75 questions, and seriously, I feel like the majority were completely foreign to me. Tons of meds, teaching of meds, prioritization...I honestly felt like I was guessing at least 80% of the time. I'm still praying with all of me heart. Good luck to all of you!
  14. I just can't get over the number of questions I was completely clueless on. I was a good student (mostly B's). This test was CRAZY!!! None of the "strategies" were working. Tons of meds, probably 5-6 SATA's, lots of teaching (mostly about meds...) and prioritization. Two easy med calc's that I missed...UGH!!! Thank goodness I"m in a quick result state; although unfortunately, I'm not sure the results are going to be positive. If only I was a drinker...=)
