I have done my BSCN from Pakistan in 2004 , came in USA in 2012. attempt a lot of time never Pass.
Now since 2 and a half year i am stuck in the process of talking NCLEX RN . if any buddy can help me as i am looking at the nursing board which can let me take the Nclex Rn with out English requirement ( as my course of nursing was in English) and their id no required extra credit hours .
i did Attempt 2 years ago in 2018 march from Iowa now they are asking for English test requirement. Trying to work on process from Mid of 2018 and not still successful to complete the process of my application.
can any buddy help me in the process on NCLEX RN FORM ANY board but live in Illinois
I think a bigger block for you may be the long period of time without testing for the NCLEX in the US. For the foreign eligible RNs, many require the TOEFL to ensure you are proficient enough in English to pass the NCLEX and work in the US.
You would need to check on the BON in each state to check on which one does not require TOEFL or another similar assessment of English proficiency. It is possible you may need to do a refresher course as well.
You are probably not going to be able to avoid taking the TOEFL, or any other English proficiency exam, due to your licensing in another country. Heck, even when you apply to Grad school they make anybody who has a degree from another country take the TOEFL. They need to make sure you are proficient in English. Just saying you are proficient, does not count for schools or nursing degrees.
My question is very similar, however I tested 3x in Colorado (failed). Exam in English. I live in Michigan they have the rule 2yrs no pass... alternative course. I do not what to take that, due to cost & time. One lat important thing, I attended nursing school in Puerto Rico ( English). What state will allow me to test without all the extra course requirement. Is PR considered (Foreign instruction). Help me I'm struck in making a move to apply to a state.

I don’t know exactly what you need help with. But since u are retaker I highly recommend Rachell Allen. Check their FB, Instagram and website. Few of my friends who are international nurses took that course and passed NCLEX. They narrow down your study materials. Highly recommended. Good luck.

I believe the NCLEX can only be taken in English.. You also have to submit transcripts from the institution you were at. Honestly, you should call and ask for help. Have you tried that?
