New York NCLEX ATT 2020
Greeting! I'm a 3x repeat taker in another state. I would like to know if anyone is/has experienced my frustration and anxiety with New York process/ progress my application to recieving an ATT. I submitted my application on Feburary 12th along with the certificate of the 2 courses. My University confirmed they sent the required documents in February as well. With total consideration of the Pandemic affecting NY majorly these last 5 months. The state shutdown and implementing the "New Normal" working from home etc... I have checked the website for updates monthly/weekly related to progress of processing apps. Initial message stated NY graduate apps would be processed first. There after all other applicants included International Universities. Currently on the April- June applicant's. I've submitted four emails for an update on my app...no reply. I'm unable access my application account. I graduated from Puerto Rico 2015 in an English cohort credited University.( Side thought! why is PR considered International? Many states requiring additional requirements?) Can anyone share/advice their experience in receiving an ATT from NY this 2020. More specifically as a non NY graduates? The "clock is ticking" for this opportunity to test with the modifications. " I need/ want to be in this number "

NCLEX RN repeat test taker
My question is very similar, however I tested 3x in Colorado (failed). Exam in English. I live in Michigan they have the rule 2yrs no pass... alternative course. I do not what to take that, due to cost & time. One lat important thing, I attended nursing school in Puerto Rico ( English). What state will allow me to test without all the extra course requirement. Is PR considered (Foreign instruction). Help me I'm struck in making a move to apply to a state.

Puerto Rico school feedback - thread #2
Quote from feetinthedirt For those of you starting the accelerated program at La Inter this August, what have you been told in terms of registration, orientation, and anything else that needs to be done before classes start? I am getting contradictory information about when I have to be down there and I am trying to get as many similar answers on dates before I buy my ticket/leave my job for good. Thanks! I will attending La Inter in August and contacted someone from the Dept of Nursing and was informed that the final Transfer/New Student orientation is on July 13th. It was also suggested that you arrive early within days to confirm you registration for August classes. Therefore I will be leaving out of Michigan on July 9 or 10th and trying to confirm housing prior to arriving via a current La Inter student.

Puerto Rico school feedback?
I also plan to start the English accelerated BSN at Inter in August. I applied in mid March and haven't gotten a reply yet. Fortunately I have colleague currently in the program and they have been able to check on my application status. Last I checked "two more weeks"....as they say. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to make a pre- move trip. I will be going/moving at the end of June. I'm so excited about this endeavor but I'm extremely nervous. How is the Rio Piedras area for housing?

Puerto Rico school feedback?
Hi will be starting the Nursing program in Aug 2012 at the Interamerica as well. I am excited as well. I will be bringing my 12 year old daughter along and I am currently searching for a school for her. Have you found any private schools that you may be considering? I am also concerned about the distance of the my daughters school and the University. I plan to make the move over to PR in mid- July to "Set It Off"..Looking for all responses....
