For those of you out there that have recently taken the NCLEX-RN and had to go the whole dreadful 265 questions-do not think you automatically failed! I took mine Friday morning at 8am..and just found out the results today Sunday at 8:52am and I PASSED!!!!! All of my friends were saying they stopped at 75 and under 100, so after I passed that number I was losing all hope and dignity..cried my eyes out all the way home and couldn't stop shaking! I would have bet my life on it that I failed..that's how sure I was..the test screws with your mind big time! I talked it over with a few people and they said if you have a lot of multiple-multiples it's a good sign because they are higher difficulty questions..so just because you had to take every question DO NOT automatically think you failed!
Well I took my test MOnday the 11th at 8am and today is the 19th and i havent seen my name on the website yet. This is my 2nd time taking this test! i guess just like the 1st time after 10 days i wil get my failing letter! i was just hoping every day to have a better luck and find my name ont he website! All my friends keep trying still, i don't anymore! It's hard to believe that maybe one day your oportunity to be a nurse will come! when you have tried your best and when you have done the imaginable for 7 yrs to reach your RN dream! any advice for me? Thank you! I took Kapln course twice! i read the Kaplan book twice and saunders' 3rd edition completed twce the Kaplan qbakn! took the readiness test and all the time passed the test with high grades! i felt fconfident ont he test date! shaking and heart pounding but i knew Gos was with me and i knew i was prepared! I know i have interpretation problems but this is too much now for me to believe! bt i know also im not stupid i finish a nursing program by myself! nobody gave me for free any grade! i earned them all!
My friend told me to call the nursing board so i did call and this nice lady told me that i i don't get to see myname on the website on 10 days that pretty much i didn't pass! she said her system didn't show her anything about emailing me yet any letter because i was calling before the usual 10 days when they send your failing letter. She told me not to give up. I took it like a key word saying: "You failed" but don't give up keep trying!. I guess i am going to wait for the letter to have some closure and start setting up a new study plan! and try to retake the test once again by the end of June! i thought 2dn time was my lucky charm theni hope the 3rd time will be my charm!...

They can't tell you your results over the phone, definitely wait for letter
I just took mine for the third time on Saturday and had all 265 questions and took 6 hours to complete. Quick result is available online but too scared to check. So I am just waiting to receive letter. I am not in hurry to find out and didn't want to spend another $8 to check my result :wink2: I am just hoping that I passed this time. Last time I took the exam, I got the letter in 4 days. That was pretty quick. So, I dont think it will take that long to find out this time.
Well I got my letter today and not good news. I failed AGAIN. This is very very depressing. I am going to try Kaplan Review next time, but not sure if I want to take it again. Everyone told me not to give up but I don't know if I have strength to take it again. I don't want to give up.
Well, I had 7 SATAs, 5 calculations, lots of drugs, and 2 select in right order ones. I pray for all of you who are still trying after couple of tries. I will not give up and I am going to pass this thing!!!!
So I just came back from taking the NCLEX and I had to take all 265 questions!! It was horrible, I had quite a few SATA, at least 4 drugs. I took Kaplan, did about 1000 questions between Kaplan, Saunders and Lippincot and I can honestly say I did not know have the topics!! I am a basket case!! The next 48 hrs are going to be horrible
