For those of you out there that have recently taken the NCLEX-RN and had to go the whole dreadful 265 questions-do not think you automatically failed! I took mine Friday morning at 8am..and just found out the results today Sunday at 8:52am and I PASSED!!!!! All of my friends were saying they stopped at 75 and under 100, so after I passed that number I was losing all hope and dignity..cried my eyes out all the way home and couldn't stop shaking! I would have bet my life on it that I failed..that's how sure I was..the test screws with your mind big time! I talked it over with a few people and they said if you have a lot of multiple-multiples it's a good sign because they are higher difficulty questions..so just because you had to take every question DO NOT automatically think you failed!
Hi!
Yes, it's very possible to get all the 265 questions and pass!!!
I took my NCLEX on the 16th of June. I got all the 265 questions and it took me 4 hours. I was sure I failed because I had many pharm questions and lots of questions on priority and "select all that apply". On Tuesday my husband wakes me up at 8:30 am and says "hey, guess what? you passed the exam" and I thought he was joking. But he wasn't! I looked on the computer and he had the bsn.ca website on and it said my name on it! RN!!! WOW!!! It's the 30th already and I received my license a few days ago and I still can't believe that I passed!!! Praise God because I couldn't have done it without His help!
PS-I had to retake a few of my ATI's because I didn't get the passing score in nursing school... and I graduated a year ago!
I was reading this thread everyday after i took the test. I got all 265 and 101% certain i failed. I was afraid to try the trick. I took the test friday and i saw my name on CaBON website today, wed. I tried the trick right after i found out I passed. It's true! LOL!
And they were right, it's possible to pass with 265 questions! God is good! yeheeeeey!!
I'm still in shock and i always check my name on CA BONwebsite. LOL!
Greetings!!! Ususally I don't post on threads but I felt compelled to tell my story that could possibly help someone else. I took the NCLEX on September 3, 2009 and had 265 grueling questions . It was the worst four hours of my life. I have studied for this test for the past three months none stop, and felt completely stupid while reading some of these questions. However, I am pleased to say that hard work paid off because I PASSED
!!!! I completed the PearsonVue "trick" :typing and got the good "pop-up" and finally got my results on today. I must say that the 265 was indeed frighting; however I did it.
Congratulations to all the new nurses and good luck to the up and coming test takers!!!!

hi.. im so new in here.. however i frequently visit this site.. i took mine Sept. 28 and have 265 too.. I wanted to cry but no tear came from my eyes..i wuz really sadden that i felt like i will get sick partly blaming myself that i didn't do my best. I kept thinkin' that i will pass coz I knowGod had guided me all the way till the last item of the exam.... I hope that i will pass.. Until I tried to checked at Ca BRN's permanent license verification. I was so shocked and feels like a heavy thing was lifted from my shoulders.. I saw my name on the site yesterday two days after my exam.. But what bothers me is that the County was different.. I live in L.A. but the county written was different. Is there any possibility that the person was not me.???. That there's another person named and surname isjust like mine??? Im really puzzled right now. I haven't receive any mail from BRN yet.. how long am I goin to wait 'til I receive my result...Im hoping and praying that it's me..
God's been so great all the time..
