Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

This post is for all those who are taking their nclex rn in January. How are you guys with your review? What materials are you using? Let's encourage each other. Thanks

you'll be fine, praying for u. Yes please do update us. Soon it will be over... hang in there. The results are already in God's hands you just need to sit down there and finish it...

Wow I love how you worded that I'm definitely taking that to heart :inlove:

@Ms_Petite @shesanurse Thank you! I will. Always remember God is always beside us. í ¾í´—

I have a question guys..who would be priority. A person with internal head trauma with ICP which may result in brain herniation or a person in ARDs who will need immediate intubation? I know ABC'S with neuro is last but I've just always wondered....

just in my opinion the one with ARDS... :bored:

Lol yeah I agree. I hope their priority questions are not that crazy stacked up against each other.

Hi ladies! I've been following this thread all month while I await my ATT (I'm in CA--it takes forever), finally got my ATT and am testing this Friday the 27th!!!

I graduated beginning of Dec and have been using UWorld exclusively. 75 questions every day until I finished the entire test bank. Ended at 69% overall. Then I went back and re-did all my wrong questions until I got them all right. And THEN, I re-started the entire bank randomly to simulate NCLEX with a huge improvement in my scores. The UWorld predictor gave me a 97% chance of passing.

I almost puked when I scheduled my test for 2 days away! lol. Can't help but be a little nervous! But overall, I think I'm ready.

I'll let you all know how it goes!

good luck NICUismylife!!!

Good luck! I know EXACTLY what you mean about not wanting to do any more questions. :D I feel so burnt out at this point.

As my test day approaches, I am getting increasingly nervous (I take it Jan. 31). I am so afraid of not passing.

Awww mine is Feb 7!! I'll be 24!! HAPPY BDAY TO YOU TOO SIS!!! I hope we can both have our RN's by then...if...God forbid we don't...remember life is short and thank God for our blessings and the fact that we can wake up to beautiful mornings. Bless :D!!!!

Yes girl, I stopped doing questions because I just want to go in there fresh mindset. I'm not trying to memorize anything but labs and infection control and that's all. It is what it is. I'll see if the predictor rings true lol.

I guess it will be all three of us taking NCLEX on Friday the big day. I got a 97% chance of passing too and I didn't even finish the bank. Can't wait to take it !!

It's ok to be nervous but it's most important to be CONFIDENT. What are you using to prepare?

My twin I test on the 31as well

Your right; it's definitely more important to be confident. I've been using Kaplan, Saunders (just the online questions the book comes with), and the NCLEX Mastery App. :)

I kinda regret not going with UWorld after hearing so many great things about it.
