Nclex RN january 2017

Published

This post is for all those who are taking their nclex rn in January. How are you guys with your review? What materials are you using? Let's encourage each other. Thanks

Same here i currently have a bad cold too. Been coughing, throat itching, congestion and clogged nose. Hang in there, just do it!!! You won't be there by yourself, i am sure the Lord will be with you! Will pray for u sis.

@shesanurse Thank you! I will pray you feel better too.

Guys i have a question i am just so confused... can a UAP do finger blood glucose check for NCLEX?

Me too! According to my Lacharity PDA they are not allowed to perform glucose sticks imconfjsed on that too since it's a task....maybe for instances of hypoglycemia idk....

No they are not for NCLEX but real world yes.

I just scheduled my exam and it's gonna be on the 26th not on the 28th because 28 is not available. I'm feeling more confident right now than I took my exam last August. Because way back then, I didn't know anything about UWORLD and LaCharity so right now, while re-answering all the questions that I answered in UWORLD though I'm not yet finished I'm more confident to take the exam. Good luck to all of us. We will pass this one! :) I'm glad i'm averaging 60+% now compare to 47-58% on my first take on UWORLD it is because not that I remember the questions it's because I know the rationale behind the question already. I'll post again if I already take the assessment exam. THIS TOO SHALL PASS

@jtzer09 what did you do different ?

Yes... i can feel good vibes!!! We can all do this!!! May we all pass.

I'm in my last semester, graduating in May and my school requires we do Saunders and I have La Charity but thinking of purchasing Uworld and unsure if I should get it for 30 days or 180 days. What advice does anyone have? My plan is to take the NCLEX immediately upon receiving my ATT.

With God and a lot of studying, you'll do it! Future nurses

Just do the 30 days :)

@Leesiegirl I do write the rationales that I don't know right now. And because I'm the type of person who shouldn't take more days off because I feel that I'm gonna forget what I studied. Lol. That's why I re-answered again to instill the rationales on my head and to practice more the SATA and strategy to answer the questions. :)

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!

Yea if I were you I would take it at least 2 weeks after graduating from my program honestly. Just do alot of UWORLD questions and read your rationales building up to the test and just it. It produces less anxiety and you find out quicker. Best of studying to you!
