This post is for all those who are taking their nclex rn in January. How are you guys with your review? What materials are you using? Let's encourage each other. Thanks
@Ms Petite you mean that new thing they just put only one of? only 53% EEK. And yes, she passed with 75 questions and that is the only thing she used and she used Barrons nclex rn flash cards for medication. I bought them but they came too late. I am getting so so so so so nervous. I have a bad cold and praying I dont have cough attacks at NCLEX, and now its that time of month, my emotions are thorough the roof lol.
hmmm I know you want to give it a shot but honestly if you still have a cold two days before...please postpone to later. You want to make sure you're well hydrated, awake, and in a healthy state is all. I was precepted by a nurse who took her NCLEX with a cold and didn't pass it. It's not to discourage you..its in your best interest. Just rest up and I hope you feel better before you take the exam :). As far as people don't tell them the exact date just say I'll let you know or I'l take it soon...because that just puts unneccesary pressure you don't need. I did not tell any of my employers ..I have told my friends and family only because they are very supportive and truly understand the complexity of the test and situation lol. And as far as that 53% review review and focus on your weak areas..read up on em and test on em. Try to redo your UWORLD bank as well or review the notes of the rationale you made.

thank you so very much for your advice. I really really appreciate it.
I am burnt out!!!! I have had a bad cold for a week and coughing all night and I haven't slept good in a week. I am praying I dont have a cough attack on Thursday during the NCLEX. I would postpone but I have done way too much of that. I got my ATT in June after graduation April 30, 2016. I just feel I got to give it a shot no matter what or I will keep postponing. I dont feel ready though and I am starting to get super nervous. I have read maybe too many blogs. Anyways, If you all would pray for me. Another big pressure is everyone asks when I am taking my test etc. So many people and its just so much pressure. I am sure you can all related.
Same here i currently have a bad cold too. Been coughing, throat itching, congestion and clogged nose. Hang in there, just do it!!! You won't be there by yourself, i am sure the Lord will be with you! Will pray for u sis.
