Nclex RN january 2017

This post is for all those who are taking their nclex rn in January. How are you guys with your review? What materials are you using? Let's encourage each other. Thanks

@Leesiegirl I do write the rationales that I don't know right now. And because I'm the type of person who shouldn't take more days off because I feel that I'm gonna forget what I studied. Lol. That's why I re-answered again to instill the rationales on my head and to practice more the SATA and strategy to answer the questions. :)

I've retaken my incorrect answers from UWORLD and I score in the 70's and 80's I guess thats good for learning ...right lol...I'm like how come I cant get 100% right but theres no way. With nclex its all about the concept not the memorization. Just like with SATA's what is the general principle...I hope to God I only get 10 SATA lol ...

Yup. And that's good about retaking it, the concept stucks in your memory more.

I'm in my last semester, graduating in May and my school requires we do Saunders and I have La Charity but thinking of purchasing Uworld and unsure if I should get it for 30 days or 180 days. What advice does anyone have? My plan is to take the NCLEX immediately upon receiving my ATT.

I would wait to purchase it until right before or after graduation. I couldn't have fit anything else in during my last semester but that is completely up to you but if you wanted to start now then I would buy the longer one. I only did two months but I would have bought longer if I was going to be waiting to take NCLEX. U world I feel is by far the best for question banks. and thank you for the encouragement about God and studying. That is for sure the answer. I am nothing without him.

@jetzer 09. I think that is a great idea but might be a little too late for me now. I do forget easily too. Its crazy how quick when you are not using something. Thank you!

Same !! I am taking my NCLEX tomorrow and I am so nervous:( I got a 70 on the predictor but my practice test overall average is a 60.

OMGG YAYYY!! CONGRATULATIONS. The PVT DEF works. You are now an RN. How was the test compared to Uworld ?? Was it easier than uworld or harder? I heard the Sata's were easier on the NCLEX. And what was the majority of your questions about. This really instills faith in me. Did you just use UWORLD? AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS!!

yes found out I passed for sure. NCLEX is easier that uworld. And I say easier because every topic that came up I remember covering that topic from u world. There was nothing I didn't see befor. The mess were different but other than that. Ya the Sata were soo much easier than uworld

Nclex in 2 weeks!!!! And fighting the nervousness with positivity! And yes i am pretty much sure that won't finish studying before then. My grades in uworld just got stuck on 61% with 400 questions to go. Its been raining for 2 days and I've been studying so slow because of this gloomy cold weather. Not to mention still coughing bad... stay warm everyone! Nclex is just one experience that will soon pass.. enjoy reviewing. Once this is over, another chapter in our life will open... this brain frying state won't be forever!!! Go future RNs!!

I needed this! Thank you so much! Feeling very burnt out because of this weather! Wonder if everyone has hit a burn out point in studying before? NCLEX is next Friday for me so I shouldn't be feeling the burn out quite yet!

@shes a nurse. You got this ! You have 2 weeks and that is plenty of time because you have already poured a lot of time in to studying. Don't worry about the scores and long as you are understanding the rationales. I know plenty of people now who had lower scores than that who have passed. I'm taking mine tomorrow at 2 pm. I just went for a massage. I got covered in a lot of prayer and went to a prayer room on Saturday, so I'm not as nervous and the fear has been lifted. I'm just putting it all in Gods hands. Faith and fear don't go together. Every time I get fearful, I put on worship music and pray and speak Gods promises over my life. I'm believing in faith im

going to pass. God says to have enough faith as a mustard seed. Anyways, good luck with studying.
