Hello Nursing World,
I finally decided to make an account after coming to this site almost everyday, for the past several weeks, to research nursing topics. It has helped me greatly and Thank you all for you contributions!
I recently graduated from an ADN program and I am soooo happy and grateful that I was actually able to complete it because it was the MOST challenging experience I have EVER gone through in my entire life. I have to admit, it has been extremely hard to get back to the studying for the NCLEX. It's like my brain rejects the information every time I try to pick up a book and do questions... my brain says: "oh, no not you again." hahaha.... ugh! Never the less, I know I have to prepare for this beast which brings me to this post. I was thinking... Why not challenge some of you who plan on taking the NCLEX late? March/early April 2011?
What do you guys think? Maybe we can message each other here by the end of the day and share whether or not you met your daily goal. For example, I have 2 books (lacharity and Davis Q&A) and I plan on doing 100-150 questions a day until my test date. Even if I do 20-25 in increments throughout the day, the point is to do them daily. Then I will come here and share how my day went. That way we can motivate each other through this excruciating journey.
Whaddayasay huh?!?.... I plan on starting this Sunday... Let me know if any of you guys are interested, I would love to motivate and be motivated by you guys... We need to get together and tame this beast! Lets do this!!!!

good day.. im just new here.. read all the posts.. getting me more anxious.. ill be taking the exam on the 25th... studied saunders 3rd edition, practice test nclex 4000, study wizard, kaplan question trainer, lippincott 8th ed...what else do i need to study??? my pulse is ticking like clock...argggghhh:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat:uhoh3::banghead::rotfl::rotfl:
hello.. Im inspired by the stories told here in this forum.. I have been self-reviewing for nclex since may 5, but I was not too disciplined to answer 200 questions plus each day.. I am not working since my mom told me to focus on the review.. Unfortunately, my brother keeps watching avatar, the last airbender and naruto shippuden online.. you see we are living in an apartment, and a little space for me is a disadvantage.. however I am so willing and determined to pass the NCLEX, which hopefully I could apply this month for eligibility, coz Im still waiting for my diploma to be released from where I graduated, in the Philippines... Im using kaplan books which my aunt lend me, the books were way old, I think she passed her nclex year 2001. I also use the 3500 nclex questions, bought Linda Charity prioritization from ebay and Mosby's review questions.. However, as I read and browse more and more posts here, I observed that most use the Saunders Nclex rn review.. I am also planning to buy a copy of that from ebay which would probably cost me around $40 below.. I am so interested in any advice you guys could give.. Prayers are also highly appreciated.. goodluck future comrades..
I apologize, i don't have any information about yours exam. I stumbled upon this discussion and i want to share with you my hint for motivation. I love quotes, they helped me a lot when i was anxious and i've just created a site with random motivational quotes that can help to think in the right way when we fell stressed or overcomed. I know this might be considered like spam but i don't have any type of advertise on the site, neither i earn nothing with that. It's only share of my passion for quotes.
The site is http://www.motivami.com
I really hope this will helps somebody.
Best luck for the exam.
Sorry for my bad english.

I'm taking the NCLEX in a few days & wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me out w/Kaplan Q bank? I did NCLEX 4000 and Saunders and have been doing okay. Any help will be appreciated. My email address is [email protected]. Thanks in advance :)
Hello, and congrats to those who passed the exam. I have a question for all of those who passed....If you did Kaplan...what was your average....I've been doing Kaplan for a while and my scores are not that promising. I'm so scare and will be taking my test soon. Any recommendation? Thanks a bunch!

I only got average of 50% on QTs and QBank..I suggest that you review content because you can't use your Decision Tree if your weak on content. That's what happened to me. And I passed my last week. :)
