Hey All-- I took the NCLEX on Friday...came out very upset..was on edge all weekend...drove the family crazy. All my friends came out and passed with 75!! This is just my informative post to let you all know that I passed with the MAX amount of questions...so if I can do it, then you all can do it! Just keep your nose to the grindstone and stick with it. Just remember...if they keep giving you questions, it only means that you haven't failed yet!

The same happened to me as well. I thought I had failed because I heard so many stories of passing with 75 questions only. So after 75 questions I was a little distraught. After 150 questions I got nervous. After 200 questions I started to lose it. And after 230 questions...well, you know how it goes! I even know for a fact that I missed my last question. So yes, you can get all 265 questions, get the last question wrong, and PASS!

Congrats!!!!

I had that happen to me last year... I cried my whole way home from the test because I was sure I failed. I have heard a rumor, I'm not sure if it is true or not, but I have heard that right now they are testing the NCLEX and a few lucky people automatically get all the questions. An old prof of mine told me that because I was freaking out. I guess several people from my graduating class last year got all 265.

That could be true. When I took my break, the lady at the center said take your time and get something to eat and drink. I didn't. I came back and got slammed with 200 more questions. When I walked out, the lady told me "the reason I said to take a long break was because I was pretty sure you were going to get 265 questions." I thought that was odd, but who knows with these tests. I also heard a rumor from the Kaplan guy that if you get to 265 it means that you are right at the baseline...and the last question determines if you go above (into the passing level) or below (failing). I knew from the instant I got the last question that I got it right, but still was not sure if I was going to pass. So who knows how these things work. I just think its crazy that they are going to determine our careers on one non-realistic test. If we weren't able to take care of patients, then we shouldn't have graduated college.

I got 265 questions today and feel horrible. I felt that i didnt know anything (im sure i did) but i am driving myself crazy. Have to wait for two more days and my heart hasnt stopped racing. This is torture :(

Anybody have any advice for studying the next time around? (just in case)

I was in shock all the way home and spent the morning crying. I also had to answer all 265 questions. After all of my classmates have passed with 75 questions, I thought I failed for sure. This site has been the only encouragement I've had that I could still possibly pass. Here's hoping! Thanks for the stories and encouragement. I'll keep you posted...

Did you pass?!

Just took the exam last Wednesday after 2 previous attempts. Took all 265 questions and left the building unsure that I passed. Halfway through the exam I swore I brain farted for 10 questions straight. Anyways found out Saturday morning (3 days) that I PASSED the California board exam. :monkeydance:

You can doooo wwiitt!
