  1. Remember the old expression…”it ain’t over till the fat lady sings.” Hang tough. If it’s meant to be, it will work out.
  2. If you go to the website and go under FAQ it states this, copied directly from site::: There were close to 300 qualified applicants for the most recent cohort of master’s degree students, and 38 were admitted. In 2022, we will admit the inaugural cohort of approximately 20 DNP nurse anesthesia residents.
  3. Website says approximately 20 for the inaugural cohort 2022
  4. Heard from a friend that he knows of someone who got an Interview request…. Keep checking emails and spam folder.
  5. @soaptastesokagree that the admission team would give you best idea of what they are looking for GPA wise. If this helps, my undergrad GPA is 3.59. Graduate GPA of 3.89 with a MSN as family nurse practitioner. 4.0 in a post grad cert in acute care. I have been nurse for 15 years. Most in er and cticu. I have worked the last 2 years in ICU as an independent provider working nights (I do all central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, intubations, Thora/paras). Not sure if that helps you or not.
  6. Anyone heard anything yet? I applied late but hoping my experience and situation gets me at least an opportunity to interview. Best of luck to everyone.
  7. That could be true. When I took my break, the lady at the center said take your time and get something to eat and drink. I didn't. I came back and got slammed with 200 more questions. When I walked out, the lady told me "the reason I said to take a long break was because I was pretty sure you were going to get 265 questions." I thought that was odd, but who knows with these tests. I also heard a rumor from the Kaplan guy that if you get to 265 it means that you are right at the baseline...and the last question determines if you go above (into the passing level) or below (failing). I knew from the instant I got the last question that I got it right, but still was not sure if I was going to pass. So who knows how these things work. I just think its crazy that they are going to determine our careers on one non-realistic test. If we weren't able to take care of patients, then we shouldn't have graduated college.
  8. Hey All-- I took the NCLEX on Friday...came out very upset..was on edge all weekend...drove the family crazy. All my friends came out and passed with 75!! This is just my informative post to let you all know that I passed with the MAX amount of questions...so if I can do it, then you all can do it! Just keep your nose to the grindstone and stick with it. Just remember...if they keep giving you questions, it only means that you haven't failed yet!
