Hi everyone, just recently start my membership but been getting help here quite often... Please I need your opinion and experiences as well if you are related to this particular issue.
I accidently grabbed my phone while I was in break taking my nclex pn, didn't know if the rules were also applied outside of the bldg, although I didn't call or text anyone, the center staff assumed that something happened and let me finished the test and my result was being held. Five days later, I received a letter from ncsbn stated to choose between appeal or cancellation of my results....Since I know I have enough potential to pass I checked cancellation and I was able to talk to the coordinator herself ( the one who sent the letter) over the phone. Now, my concern is I don't want my state board to denie me another ATT, and I'm really preoccupied and depressed about the whole thing
Plz help, any idea about Florida board of nursing? Waiting!! Thank y'all already

Don't appeal, based on the other thread you have NO leg to stand on. Cancel the result and then see what the BON does. That's your only choice. It's not NCSBN that determines if you'll be allowed to test again, it's your BON.

Honestly with cheating allegations it is not likely (though not impossible) that you will get a second chance without appearing before the board of nursing. Consult an attorney to protect your rights that may still exist. The NCSBN has no bearing on the decision of the board of nursing. If you consent to cancel results or not the BoN will be notified of the allegations.
A poster with less serious allegations did not respond and the NCSBN released the passing results. This poster assumed thru were in the clear until they received a letter from the BoN with the option of license revocation or sanctions & probation.
Meaning regardless of the actions of the NCSBN the BoN has the final say
I can't understand why a) anyone would take the chance of cheating and b) really what are you going to look up?! You can't go back and change an answer and you have NO idea what they are going to ask next, looking at notes is like trying to look for a needle in a haystack. Mind blown.
