Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Took it Monday at 8 AM.

75 questions with 25 SATA, 3 math, 1 ekg strip, tons of meds+priority.

Got the good pop up 10 minutes after the test. That, plus some heavy drinking held me through the 48 hours:D

Believe people. IT WORKS. I passed this morning. :dancgrp:

congrats I'm glad u passed...am hoping to see my result in the morn:)

The PVT trick work for me....I took the NCLEX-RN on Monday the 18th at 8 am and when the computer shut off at question 101 I just knew that I blew it. So after getting home and freaking out for a couple hours , I stumbled onto this site and read the blogs about the PVT trick. I must say that I was very skeptical but I also knew that couldn't make my poor husband suffer through my freak out session for 48 hours so I followed the PVT directions and got the "good pop up". Needless to say, I still couldn't believe it. I tried the trick about 10 times, each time getting the "good pop up". It was finally confirmed this morning via Pearsonvue unofficial results and the MBON website......I PASSED!!:yeah::yeah:

Good Luck to everyone!!!

I just wanted to come back and give an update. The PVT absolutely worked for me. After waiting three LONG weeks plus one day, I saw my name on my state's BRN this morning. I'm officially an RN. :nurse: I must say that the PVT did ease my worries somewhat, but nothing's more reassuring than seeing your name and license number on the BRN. Yeah! Time to relax now. :yeah:

I took my NCLEX exam on July 19, 2011. The computer shut off at 75 questions. When I got home I tried the PVT and received the good pop up. Then I went online and searched dozens of blogs to verify that the trick worked. After that, I was relieved. However, the next morning, I went on the BON website to find my rn status. My name was not on there!!! I searched two other lady's names (they took the exam the same time as me) and their names were there. Here I am, panicked and defeated. I was sooooo sure that I had failed. Then on July 20th at 1500, I checked my quick results. It stated PASS!!! So the whole point of this story is to say that the Pearson Vue trick worked!!

I PASSED!! PVT WORKED!!! I am now a registered nurse, THANK YOU GOD!!

pvt works. took the test 7/19 at 8am. found out this morning at 930am that i am officially an rn now!!!!!

Thanks, I am glad I passed too. Just got a job at the hospital I was working at. It will be good to finally make what I am worth. I get 3 months of orientation and am super excited to get started. I have to say I am a little at a loss from being done with nursing school. I have so much more free time it is just weird. It will take some getting used to, but I think I will make due and try to find the active person I was before the crazy 2 years of nursing school LOL;)

Just curious. How many of you tried the Pearson Vue Trick?

HOW SOON after taking the NCLEX did you try to re-register?

Did you pass or fail?

Was it accurate?

Just wanted to see how soon I can try the PVT after I take the NCLEX! :)

PVT really does work! I took the NCLEX tuesday at 2pm and got the good pop up as soon as I checked when I was done with the exam. I was skeptical of it, and I tried it at least 20 times over 48 hours until I got my results that said I PASSED :D

I did it 3-5 hours after because I didnt know about it, I went to the cc page and it was accurate I failed. Ive read of some who tried it within 30mins to an hour and got their results.

The trick works! As much as I was convinced that I may have failed, I actually passed! :anpom: Good luck to those getting ready to or about to take the test, congrats to those who passed, and to those who didn't, keep your chin up and never give up. You CAN do this!
