14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took my nclex pn yesterday (21 July) as well. I also got the error message while trying to register again. Tomorrow I will hopefully get my quick results and be back to report. This seems too good to be true...
I have read through as many posts as my eyes can handle and still feel as though i dont know the answer. Has anyone ever themselves or someone they knew ended up passing their RN boards after trying the pearson trick and going all the way to the payment acceptance? I am extremely upset because all I am seeing is that if you go that far, it is true you failed.....please someone tell me you have passed after seeing the payment screen???? I am desperate for some good news, if I fail I loose my drem job I have just started as a graduate nurse....

and asked them why its been 7 wks and i havent got the result yet
and they said that they need my fingerprint card for DOJ AND FBI
for criminal background checks ...but ive already sent it to them last 2004!
and therefore they cannot release my result so they are sending me another fingerprint card and they said i should be able to receive it in 3 wks time then return it to them so i will have to wait for another 4 to 6 wks after they get that fingerprint card then?
and secondly , i always get the good pop up everytime i do the tricks.
but im stil worried about the result.
and thirdly, does it mean anything why they cant release my result coz of this fingerprint thing? does this mean i pass? :?
I took the test yesterday....I left feeling sooo bad. It was honestly the hardest test I have ever faced. The test cut off somewhere between 85 and 90 questions. Anyhow, I tried this "trick" by following the directions as listed on this post and a pop up came up saying "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your....Another registration cannot be made at this time." So I guess if this trick really works, I passed?! I find out tomorrow so I will repost then.

I passed. :w00t: Logged on the the maryland board of nursing site today and saw that my info has been processed already...such a quick process! I cant imagine what it used to be like to have to wait so long for the results. anyhow, I guess the PVT really does work.

I would imagine that fingerprint cards and background checks are only good for a short period of time. Certainly after seven years it is likely that the BON would no longer have that information on file or would require an update.
I don't think you can conclude that you passed or failed based on the fact that they won't release the results. I believe it is their policy to not release results until all the paperwork is complete.

Unfortunately, no. I have never come across, and never indirectly heard of a post saying that the pvt trick does not work. If you got to the credit card page and your results said "Delivery Successful" it is likely that you failed, but wait for the quick results to be sure. I'm very sorry. Give yourself some time to be upset, and then get back on the horse.
I had to go through the same thing, getting fingerprints done again. I had already had mine done as well and only a year ago but they still said I needed them done again for this new license. I sure hope you get everything worked out soon.

On 22nd , I did the pvt and got the good pop up. I was so stressed and depressed. Yesterday saturday 23rd, I couln'd stay waiting for the board result; I paid $7.95 for the quick result and I passed. I'm very happy today. Thank you guys for your posts, they help me a lot. For those who have to take the test Ps. keep faith and study. Know your contents, God get a plan for you. Thanks!

My test is tomorrow at 2pm, can I try late night around 9pm or so, or should I wait until Tuesday morning to try it?

The PVT worked, I passed!!!! When I left Friday I was 100% positive that I had failed. I tried the trick that same day and got the good pop up, now 2 days later it is official
