Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I would imagine that fingerprint cards and background checks are only good for a short period of time. Certainly after seven years it is likely that the BON would no longer have that information on file or would require an update.

I don't think you can conclude that you passed or failed based on the fact that they won't release the results. I believe it is their policy to not release results until all the paperwork is complete.

So this is one way of saying that i cant, more or less conclude that PVT works as well? since ive been getting that so called the GOOD POP UP ? :(

well thx anyway for ur post :( that puts my mood low just like the see - saw :(

i take it i will have to wait for my letter to keep me fully satisfied .

My test is tomorrow at 2pm, can I try late night around 9pm or so, or should I wait until Tuesday morning to try it?

Thanks everyone, I am super nervous, but after reading these posts, I feel confident with my studying and the power of prayer can be an amazing things.

Good Luck to any Monday test takers....

Okay so I took my boards on Friday. I came home had a successful delivery status, it went to credit card payment . I was desperate for someone to tell me the PVT wasnt always accurate, but it is. I got my quick results yesterday, I failed :crying2:. I had a pity party this weekend, and am now over it and want to go back in 45 days and kick some NCLEX-RN butt!!! I know what my problem was, I panicked after the computer didnt shut off at 75 questions, I just dont know what to do to get past that self panic? Can anyone help me with relaxing, any words of wisdom? I would appreciate any and all tips as to going in there the next time and putting this all behind me. I was hired in my dream job straight out of school and I dont want to lose this.....Please help!

PVT does work, I took the test friday 22jul and got the good pop up that night. I paid for the quick result on monday (25jul I could not wait any longer) and I passed.

I can still feel my heart beating real FAST! Took my NCLEX this morning at 8am. I tried to re register and it says ----"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."---- I've been reading a whole lot of people threading this. This is the good pop up right? Please, please tell me. Anyone out there. My legs are still shaking. The whole test was hard. Omg, I had a lot of meds that I should have known. When my computer didn't stop at 75, I was like oh God this is it. I must be either doing real bad or good. Then I thought of answering a lil faster because I was on #75 question and the time I used was 2 hours +. Then my computer shut off at 78 or 79? I can't remember anymore. Ahhhhh, how acccurate is the PVT??? Please HELP.

WOW!!!MRIGGS0023!!!!! NICE POST!!!

Congrats to you!!! Celebrate, the PVT works and I believe it too!!! Out of the quartet of dancers, I MUST say, that I ADORE the Transformer Dude and Spiderman!!! They are AWSOME :yeah:

Well I guess I failed then..I was given the full 205 questions and I swear over 50 questions on prioritizing..I can re-register and I get to payment screen! So disappointed..I studied and studied but found so many questions about drugs I had never heard of..I think it's terrible for the computer to let you go thru 205 questions if it knows after so many you have failed!

You probably went so far because you were right on the border of pass/fail. Now stay positive and take a break for a few days than take what you learned from this test and start studying and you will pass it.

I'm not sure what will help, but I went all the way to 265 and passed. I went into it just expecting to do the entire 6 hours and I almost went that long. It was a little frustrating... and I definitely left feeling like I failed. Imagine my shock and ecstasy :D :lol2: :yeah:to find out several hours later with the help of PVT that I had passed!! BON had my license posted exactly 12 days later... now I need a job! :jester:

I just wanted to share my nclex story! I took my boards on Friday July 22 and the computer shut off at 75 questions. I could not wait to make it out the door so I could start balling because I was convinced I failed. I thought there was no possible way I could have passed at 75 questions so once I got home I waited for Pearson to say my test was successfully delivered and the I did the PVT & got the good pop-up! I could not believe it, I think I searched posts all weekend making sure everyone passed when they got that!! On Sunday morning I was able to do the quick results & it said status pass!! I am so so happy & relieved & wanted to share another story because the PVT really does work! I am now an RN!:redbeathe
