  1. Wow, there's a lot of great information in this thread. OP, I have been told the same thing, and that is that I appear timid and not at all confident. It's just my nature. I've always been on the shy and reserved side. It's definitely something I need to work on.
  2. I applied for their new grad program, as well, but I haven't heard back from them. I'm assuming phone interviews are done? Or are they going until October 3rd? Anyone in the know?
  3. Thank you for posting that. Great information, indeed!
  4. Lots of great information in this thread. Thank you to all who contributed. OP, I hope you get the job! Good luck!
  5. Congrats!!!! How exciting! Good luck with your new job!
  6. BSN all the way. Good luck to you.
  7. Good luck to all those who have applied! I really, really hope to get an interview....
  8. OP, I hope you passed today! Let us know how it went!
  9. I just wanted to come back and give an update. The PVT absolutely worked for me. After waiting three LONG weeks plus one day, I saw my name on my state's BRN this morning. I'm officially an RN. I must say that the PVT did ease my worries somewhat, but nothing's more reassuring than seeing your name and license number on the BRN. Yeah! Time to relax now.
  10. I was actually blind-sighted by this Lifesavers Nursing Review leaflet, which could have easily been interpreted by someone such as myself as not passing her boards, especially because I'm still waiting on my official results, and this program claims that it can help test takers pass their boards. I was under the impression that my results were released to this company, which I thought was the reason why this company sent me this leaflet in the first place. Apparently, it's pure coincidence and nothing to worry about. This company does not have access to my results. I actually found an older thread of another member with the exact same concern as mine. Here's Suzanne4's explanation: "CA cannot give your results to anyone, period. They have not given your results to any of these companies, but they do sell lists of those that have registered for licensure with them. I even get this type of mailer when I get a license in a new state. I think that it is inappropriate that these companies are permitted to function like this and contact people before they even get their results. Not a nice thing to do, and you can report them to the Better Business Bureau and see if others have complained about their tactics. You can also contact the BRN about this. These same companies do it to all, even if you grew up in the US, they still send them. As a foreign grad, if you did not give them a SSN# when you registered for the exam, then you wait about 2 1/2 weeks for them to send your results to you via snail mail and then wait for the delivery time as well. Remember that the BRN cannot submit any results to any other BON, or even CGFNS, etc., without your written documentation to do so. That means that they cannot give your results to anyone else like this either." I think I just might do as Suzanne4 suggested and file a complaint. Talk about stress inducing. So not cool. Here's the whole thread, if anyone's interested: https://allnurses.com/international-nursing/nclex-results-287086.html
  11. I took the NCLEX-RN almost three weeks ago on Tuesday, June 28, in California. I have yet to see my name on California's BRN, so I've been doing the PVT every single day since my test date. I'm continuing to get the good pop-up. I've called California's BRN, and they informed me that they have my transcript, but it needs to be keyed in. Only God knows how long that will take. I'm driving myself mad. I'm constantly checking the BRN, as well as doing the PVT at least 20 times a day. Today, I'm feeling more than disheartened because I received a leaflet from Life Savers Nursing Review Center. The leaflet claims that this program can help me pass my boards. It also includes class locations and dates, a registration form, and testimonials from students who have taken it in the past and have subsequently passed their boards. I can't stop crying. Does this mean that I failed my boards??? Were my results and information released to this company?? Is that why they sent me this leaflet??? Oh, my goodness, this is really stressing me out to the point where I can't think straight. Has this happened to anyone before?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Depressed and beyond stressed, Yoshi
  12. TLCsmiley13, I'm right there with you. I took the NCLEX-RN over two weeks ago on Tuesday, June 28, and my name is still not on CA BRN. I, too, continue to get the good pop-up on Pearson Vue, which is somewhat comforting to me. Have you called the BRN to verify that your application is complete? They could be missing your transcript or something, which could explain the delay (they won't issue your license until your application is complete). I called the BRN, and I just have to wait for them to key in my transcript. Not sure exactly how long that will take. While PVT is giving me a small bit of hope, waiting for OFFICIAL results is getting to be too much for me to bear.
  13. Congrats to everyone! You guys are seriously lucky. I'm having the worst luck. I took the NCLEX two weeks ago on Tuesday, June 28, and I still don't see my name on the BON. All I can really do is wait, which is absolutely torturous.
  14. Oh, my goodness, I'm seriously beginning to lose all hope. It's been well over two weeks since I've taken the NCLEX. I've called the BRN and they confirmed that they've already received my transcript. My application is complete with the exception of my transcript needing to be keyed in. They told me that I need to wait. For how long? I'm really not sure. Friends who took the NCLEX TWO weeks AFTER I did have already got their names and license numbers on CA BON. I'm seriously going crazy here. All of this waiting is making me loopy. On the upside, Pearson Vue continues to yield the good pop-up for me, which is seriously the only thing that's keeping me SOMEWHAT sane at this point. I've researched this site for HOURS, and I've never encountered a single post where someone got the good pop-up only to find out that he/she failed the NCLEX. I hope the PVT doesn't let me down.
  15. I have seen random posts here and there of people saying they know of people who got directed to the CC page, but later learned they passed. Not sure how accurate these posts are, though, since it was never firsthand information (it was always someone the poster knew, not the poster him/herself). I have never seen posts of people saying they or someone they knew failed after getting the good pop-up.
