  5. I am about to fullfill my first travel contract as an ICU RN this fall. I have been chatting with advantage RN(any thoughts) about taking a job in Denver or Seattle. Any recommendations of companies that staff either of these areas? Any advantage RN experience? I am an avid skiier, skydiver, scuba diver, and paraglider and would appreciate anyones insight into any of these locations. Also my gf who is a surgical tech will be coming with me as a traveler. Should we use the same company? Thanks.

  9. I am looking to take my GRE exam in the next few months. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestion as to what study materials to use ect... what books did you like, did you feel the class was worth it ect... Also wondering if one was to not score high on the first attempt are you able to retake it with out the poor score showing up when you apply to schools? For those of you that respond, thanks.
  10. So I scored an interview in my states largest level one trauma center. I have been trying for months and finally got one. What questions should I be prepared for? I am a new grad RN and it is a position in surgical/trauma/neuro unit.
  11. So I am totally excited to say that I have scored an interview at HCMC. I have dreamed of working there since I started nursing. I want to prep for the interview. Any advice as to questions scenarios to be prepared for would be greatly appreciated. It is an RN new grad position.
  12. okay, kind of a random question. Just graduating with my RN at 22 and am looking at getting a new job, continuing with my education to grad with BSN in 2 years and apply to anesthesia school following. I want to take out about an 8000 car loan. What if I don't have it paid off by the time I start CRNA school. Will I be able to take out additional money to cover loan payment? Thanks.

  14. anyone get in with a C in there ADN nursing program. I am currently looking at a C in a 6 credit medu surg nursing class in my ADN program. First C and a bunch of A's in science classes. Could this pose a problem down the road. Thanks
