  1. Yay! Did you accept their offer, or are you going to attend elsewhere? It is a great school 🤗 . Regis was my first choice [emoji13]
  2. I concur with futurenorcalnure
  3. Holycrap! I just looked it up!![emoji15] That's so low!!!!
  4. Hello all, I was wondering if anyone else has been accepted to the Regis Traditional program. I just received my email of acceptance!!
  5. Does anyone know if PCC evaluate via cumulative GPA or pre req GPA? And where does one find the $$ for OHSU the website is enormous [emoji143]🏻 thank you:)
  6. I can't seem to find their requirements besides a 2.8 GPA Do you have any good information on this school?
  7. I was wondering if anyone has tried this route? If I BSN in Radiology or Sonography, will my chances be higher in getting accepted into a nursing program. I know ABSN is not a competitive compared to BSN. And who knows i might be able to bring my GPA up during that time:up:. Any thoughts on a different medical field degree until i get accepted to a nursing program?
  8. Does anyone know if they look at GPA of nursing pre-req, or all you class even from 8 years back?
  9. I've ace'd Anatomy, Physio, Chem, and Micro. Unfortunately only have a few more A's and then B's and 2 C's. I took a one year program as an Assistant in the medical field almost 10 years ago, which gave me a gpa lower than 3.0. Sooo that being said, my cumulative gpa with nursing pre reqs not being all A's (accept for my sciences), plus my 1 year program gpa being lower than 3.0. I feel like i'm out of choices. Plus i got a low score on Teas. However, i do have 2 years of medical field exp. and 2 years of language. I feel it all means nothing. If my grades from 10 years ago are going to be counted in their criteria of accepting me im screwed I was thinking of taking a tutoring class for my 2nd attempt for the teas, see how that goes. Even ASN degrees are wanting high TEAS score (80%). And the local lottery schools i've looked at are only basing the TEAS score from the first attempt . My only way of getting in is if a program looks at my science grades, my medical experience, and 2 years of language and letters of reference. Pending i pass my teas on the 2nd attempt with flying colors. I heard of a teas class that charges $1000 to help one pass above 79% but it's not a guarantee. I live in California which makes it all the worse of getting in. I'm willing to relocate, however, i haven't found any programs that will not want my transcripts from 8 years ago.. the admission office as for ALL transcripts. I don't understand why old grades matter. Feeling so defeated. My spouse and 5 year old have been so patient as i did homework all these years (4) and now it feels like it was all for nothing. Anybody know any colleges that focuse essays, or/& med. exp, and good science grades. Iven if they just look at pre reqs and NOT entire GPA from 8 yrs back. I'm even willing to retake TEAS test:blink:
  10. How many months in advance did you take your TEAS test? I'm applying for a few school this fall and spring programs too. Some of my classmates suggest a week of studying, and some suggest study a year ahead. Also, are the practice test free on any sites, or do they all cost money for practice tests?
  11. Awesome, thank you!! When are you planning on taking it?? I still have not taken my anatomy, physiology, chemistry,or micro, but my transfer school told me i could still take it before i take the classes.
  12. Please give me a link to an up to date TEAS study book and question. The school i will be attending told me that students should be studying the most up to date TEAS as its constantly changing.
  13. Wow, that's motivation!! Thank you for sharing:up:
