Nursing Students NCLEX

So, I'm taking my boards tomorrow, it's kind of a long story, but I pushed my test date up from the 19th to the 8th. So, I am now (of course) feeling that I should have taken that further 2 weeks to study more. But I took a review class and the instructor said that if you are doing questions, and consistently scoring 70-75% correct on them, you are ready. So my question for all of you that have taken the NCLEX-RN, how true is that? Did any of you keep track of your percentages on practice questions, and did you pass or fail?

Just so you know, I have been getting between 70-77% right on my practice questions, I'm just nervous...:uhoh21:

Kaplan questions? I've seen different numbers for different reviews.

Saunders, mostly. I also have the Prentice Hall reviews and rationales CD that i've been using. I have a Kaplan book that someone gave me, but it's a few years old, so I'm hesitant to use it, in case some of the drugs aren't up to date, etc.

Sounds like you are ready in spite of your nervousness. Take some time to relax at this point. Have a good dinner and go to bed early. Wishing you good luck tomorrow.

I would put the study books away and relax tonight. Resist the urge to review one last time! Good luck on your exam!

You are in good shape, get a good night sleep and go kick that test in the A22, you will do fine.

YOU ARE READY!!!

Believe in yourself and God....now go be a nurse.
