Any June NCLEX Test Takers Out There?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Just wanted to touch basis with my fellow June NCLEX test takers. I know we're all nervous and studying to the point of exhaustion but we can do this!!! Whether this is your first attempt or your third attempt, we're going to pass!

I take mine June 13th at 8:00am and I plan on doing the PVT trick later that day even though I'm believing/claiming that I've already passed.

It seems like a lot of people on this board are doing the Kaplan review course - I just looked at it and wow is it expensive! I am doing questions from the new edition of Lippincott Q&A, ATI practice assessments online, and Saunders Q&A on my PDA. Hopefully that is enough - I think I've done about 2000 questions and I feel pretty prepared to take the NCLEX. Scoring about 75-85% on practice assessments. I just want to take it and be done with it and then start looking for jobs! There are no GN's in my state so it's been hard to even get an interview without the RN after my name.

You can't apply for jobs here until you have your License. I didn't do any review classes. I went in and took it within a week of graduating. You're thinking right. Go get it done and get a jump start on looking for jobs. I went to another state to test for mine so I can get it down quicker. It was still for a CO License, but apparently you can take it at any Pearson testing center. I got a 2 week head start on my classmates and it has been paying off.

WEDNESDAY WEDNESDAY WEDNESDAY!! Scared to death to take it but it can't get here soon enough...I'm ready for all this mess to be OVER!!!

I'm taking my NCLEX June 7th. So nervous! I took the Kaplan classroom. Hope I pass!

Meeeeee. Wednesday.

It's like ripping a band-aid off...let's get it over with already!

I am also taking mine on Wednesday!!! What are your plans for today and tomorrow?? At this point I'm just looking over stuff I didn't feel 100% confident while doing the Kaplan review questions and then tomorrow I plan on doing maybe 25-50 questions reading over rationale then just relaxing the rest of the day.....THEN THAT DREADED WEDNESDAY;)

Today, I'm doing Saunders NCLEX questions, reviewing pharmacology, and brushing up on some things I need details on, such as DKA, HHNS, Addisons, Cushings, and some maternal/newborn material. Gonna just let it ride after today though, review lab values (for the 50th time) and a little pharm tomorrow and that's it.

Sounds like a good plan!! Best of luck to us all!!! REMEMBER THAT WE CAN DO IT:) Just one more stinken test:) Let us know how you guys do and I will do the same!

Mine is Friday and I'm starting to get studying burnout. It doesn't help that it's a holiday weekend and the weather is nice and everyone is out doing fun stuff. I'm working on questions today from Lippincott and will do the same tomorrow along with some questions from Saunders 4th edition. I completed the Kaplan's strategy guide, but I will go over those strategies on Thursday and try to calm myself down. This is my second attempt so I'm really nervous, but trying to remain positive. I just wanna get this over with an be a RN already!

June 1. Yippeeee!

I studied my butt off in school, so I haven't done any traditional book studying. I've been doing questions and reading rationales, and I'm treating practice tests like refreshers of content already learned.

There's a little bit of doubt in the back of my mind, though. If all the statistics individually and for graduates of my type of program are true, I have anywhere from a 2%-10% chance of failing. There's just that one little, aggravating tickle that I could be the 2% to 10%, you know? A bit anxiety-inducing, to say the least.

This sounds like a perfect plan. You will pass!
