Hi everyone! Soooo I finally have my testing date. In 6 more days I will be facing the dreaded NCLEX. I am so nervous,I can't really begin to describe the ball of nerves I have. All I can do is pray at this point. Please keep me in your prayers as well, for those of you who believe in a higher power.I will keep you guys updated....
What study materials can use. I have fail 3 time now. Kaplan, Saunders, ncsbn. What, I am doing wrong. Please help
Wait for your candidate performance report and compare all three. Are you always deficient in the same area? Are you improving? It's impossible to advise you until you review the feedback given regarding your exam results. THEN you can create a targeted study plan
I took mine on 6/13/15 and was told I would have results this morning. I keep getting a message on my Pearson page that says results are unavailable. I contacted the live chat Pearson Vue help and they said since I took it over the weekend I wouldn't have quick results until Wednesday. It didn't work like this for LPN boards. Anyone else have a longer wait because of taking it a weekend day?
Sorry to hear you didnt pass, but your optimistic spirit nd perseverance is wonderful! I took mine on the same date as well and also stopped at 75. What helped me was ATI.. are u able to get access to online ATI test banks? I believe if u focus on that it will help u IMMENSELY. they also have a telephone app thats available on smart phones, that waY u can do test questions while on the go. I never touched a kaplan book or program. I wldnt even know what it looked like if someone showed it to me. Saunders is great, especially the lab values section and is a great way to review content. I tried NCSBN bt it didnt help i wish i wld have saved my $50 tbh. But u have the right mind frame, it could happen to anyone and has happened to many great and successful nurses. u got this! @baddie
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. I tried Saunders, Kaplan, ready to pass review.
Have you tried HURST review. Clearly there is something wrong if you have already failed three times. How much time are you studying? Are you reading the rationales for the questions you have been missing? You need to take a long, hard look at the way you are doing things and studying since you continue to fail.
