Hi everyone! Soooo I finally have my testing date. In 6 more days I will be facing the dreaded NCLEX. I am so nervous,I can't really begin to describe the ball of nerves I have. All I can do is pray at this point. Please keep me in your prayers as well, for those of you who believe in a higher power.I will keep you guys updated....
GUYS I PASSED! Called the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and they said "Congratulations!" Man does it feel good.
For those of you that didn't pass - don't lose hope. Don't lose sight of the vision you have and calling to this profession. Press on. You CAN do this. You WILL do this. All good things are worth fighting for and take time. Holler at me for encouragement and prayers. I got you all!
Nursebaddie83 I am a former Kaplan college student and used the Kaplan product for study prior to taking my boards. I did 100-200 qbank questions per day and did a trainer every couple of days. I remediated my wrong answers daily. Once I finished the 1200+ questions in the qbank. I selected "only incorrect" to make my new test and then remediated those wrong answers too. Then two days before my boards I took trainer 7.....it's 265 questions. Those i remediated that day, took the next day off and then took my boards. On;y thing I would have changed was to take trainer 7 a little further away from test day, because it was a lot to remediate. I scored in the 70-80% range for my qbanks....the second time through and 65% on trainer 7. I passed in 180 questions. If those 55yo can you do it, you can too. Good luck and God bless.

Congrats,you deserve it!
Hi everyone I've been following this post. I took NCLEX-RN this morning. I was given the entire 265 questions. I've done the pvt 3 times and received the good pop up but I'm still freaking out. I couldn't sleep last night and after I got to about 150 questions I was having panic attacks. I am in Maryland and not sure exactly how long it takes for official results but I will pay for the unofficial results Sunday. Good luck and congrats to everyone!
Hello, I'm sorry u didn't pass. I also took my exam on 6/10/15 for the 3rd time and PASSED!! i would like to tell you what i did maybe it will help you. For my previous exam i used kaplan and did not pass so i received a refund. This past time i used the ATI comprehensive NCLEX book (it's yellow) & took my own notes in each section (yes this is time consuming but it helps me remember things better) and i used that as my main source of studying, i also used the prioritization, delegation by LaChairty, i used the lippincott Q&A book for questions as well as the NCLEX-RN mastery app. Also I used kaplan QT which i found for free online. I really hope this helps
You can do it!! just believe in yourself, be confident!!!

What advice would you give to a person like me who had alot of lost time in between?i wish i was like my classmates who did school straight and then took nclex, but i feel like i was starting from the very beginning since i had alot of lost time.
