I'm starting the RN-BSN-MSN program this summer!

I recently tried it and it was not accurate for me. I passed NCLEX and got the "bad pop-up"

I just took mine the 13th. It shut off at 75 questions and I passed. Of the 75, I only felt certain of the answer on 20 of them. As someone who passed, I can tell you PVT is not accurate.

I took mine on 6/13/15 and was told I would have results this morning. I keep getting a message on my Pearson page that says results are unavailable. I contacted the live chat Pearson Vue help and they said since I took it over the weekend I wouldn't have quick results until Wednesday. It didn't work like this for LPN boards. Anyone else have a longer wait because of taking it a weekend day?

There is a PA program in the town where I live and they say you must have 2000+ hours of paid, direct contact, healthcare experience. The truth is that they let people in who have only job shadowed PAs.

I agree with Open Wide Heart. I got a HCM degree 4 years ago and I'm starting nursing school this Aug. My experiences with the HCM degree have been so awful I could probably write a book and make more money off of it than I have in the last 4 years.

Also, are the online programs any easier to get into? Most of the requirements I've seen specify having a BSN with varied years of experience and at least a 3.0. Does anyone know how many students are usually accepted? Talking about NP programs....

I was unaware. I thought with all MSN degrees one must be at least a RN. I think with both programs clinical experience should be required.

It's pretty scary how some, if not most, PA programs accept students with any kind of degree and no clinical experience.

I have noticed there are several online NP programs but very few PA programs. Why is this? I'm not trying to start a debate on who is more qualified bc I feel it comes down to the person and how hard they work. But why is it that so many NP programs are able to be offered online?

Has anyone done the Acute Care track at USI?

I had several of the same reading questions and a few in English. Many of the math were the same type, just different numbers. As far as the science, the first time it had tons of chemistry on it. The second time lots of questions about kinetic and potential energy. The ATI study guide did not prepare me well at all. If you have recently taken biology and chemistry you will likely do well. The test took the subjects in the guide and expanded on them greatly.

I have the ATI study guide and one of the practice tests was somewhat easy and the other was very difficult. I took the exam two weeks ago and I thought the science was unreasonably difficult. I still scored pretty well, I attribute that to being a good guesser. The exam takes what is explained in the guide and expands on it greatly. I had very few general or basic knowledge questions. I think if you have recently had chemistry and biology you will find it easier if your test is anything like mine was.
