NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

Hi I'm new in this site.. just want to ask your help regarding the application in nclex.wh NY I just tried to order CVS to cgfns but before purchasing it was indicated their that I need to contact first the nysed to verify that need to order CVS.what should do. Please help me coz. Don't really know the whole process and how to start it.thank you :-)

hello! can i submit CVS and form 1 at the same time? or should i send first the cvs to cgfns before submitting the form 1 to ny. do i need to take asap the infecton control and child abuse program? or can i take it after taking nclex if ever they approve my application

s takes approx 6-8 months so no need to send application to BON until a bit closer, infection control and child care can be done later but BON will not issue a license until completed

Will they issue the actual license even without SSN? Considering you pass the NCLEX

HI froliveria, I am also having the same problem as yours. CGFNS did not receive required documents from my school and licensing agency and university. CGFNS have already submitted cvs report to NYSED. What will happen to my application? Did you hear anything from them? please help me. What should I do next? I already send form 1 application to NYSED.

Hi fellow nurses, can anybody here help me on finishing my application with CGFNS. I attended 2 schools during my highschool days. should i just declare the school where i graduated high school or shoul i indicate my first school then just note that i transferred school then write my school where i graduated? :) im afraid they could get confused if i dont write my 1st school i attended because year attended should also be diclosed in the form,.i just want to make sure that everything is correct before i'll pay.. thank you so much RN's! :)

hi runa i did not received any response yet. the cgfns just received my transcript from my school but my file is already in nysed.
