Hi Everyone :)
Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.
Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?
Hey guys! I got my scrubs at Dorothy's. They only had 1 small Landau top but they will be ordering more!
For those who have purchased the e-books, am I able to go up to the college, say tomorrow, and get the access code no with no problem or did we have to wait for the lady to order them?? Thanks!
@caterific: That was the case when I was at Dorothy's as well...although I don't buy small. I remember the Elsevier lady saying something about a package/box with the access code stuff in it, as well as her getting that estimate number of how many to order. That was 11 days ago, so maybe they are there now? :) 50-50 chance, I guess. I don't recall them mentioning what format we should purchase Davis's Drug guide in...but hard copy is probably better. I say this because it seems like it will be a reference book as well as one to learn tons by...so it should be easily referred to no matter where you are. Now I don't know how clinicals will work or if the instructors will allow our technologies into the lab.
Just to clarify and be specific: We can wear any colored scrubs? Bring the stethoscope for sure, along with the Fundamentals, Basic Pharmacology, and the other small stuff (pen, paper, etc). :) EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^ I don't know whether to sit at the front (where the "smart" kids sit, lol) or in the back (where there is more room to put the stuff). I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!:w00t:
I was thinking that we did NOT have to wear scrubs because the first day is basically just lecture. We have the option of wearing scrubs on lab days and we are REQUIRED to wear the red top and black bottoms on clinical days. Obviously, I may be very worng because there are a few people saying we DO hav eto wear scrubs on the first day. I am so confused now!!!! Hopefully someone will know for sure:bugeyes: Regardless, I am so overwhelmed and excited!!!!!! I cannot wait!!!!
