Hi Everyone :)

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.

Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

Ahhhh. So since our instructors are lovely nurse ladies who HATE procrastination, they will have it up wayyyy early? :) I believe it!!!!!!

way to think positive tim!!!:)

My stethoscope arrived in the mail today, and I am so excited to start classes!!! Only about 3 weeks left, let the fun begin. Cant wait to get to meet all of you.

I just ordered my stethescope and got it engraved :) I've been reading my Dimensional Analysis for Meds book in my "spare time" and it isn't that hard at all :) (thank God) I am eager to get this journey started!!

I was relieved when I started reading Dimensional Analysis too...but shocked that some stuff I just couldn't remember that well. :p Like I've been doing advanced math for years using them expensive TI-84's, and in doing so forgot how to do long division. hahahaha I hope we can bring calculators, cuz I'd DIE without one. :)

When are you guys gonna start reading the vital signs chapter that we'll go over on the first day? I saw how large the chapter is, so I'll just start it monday. xD

We can use calculators :) only the basic ones though- can't be programmable (TI-84)

I read the VS chapter last night quickly... will read it again closer to the 27th :p

You're on top of things, Red!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I bet you'll be one of the few in the program that gets all A's all the way through. :)

Awe you're so sweet, Tim. That would be great lol, yet highly unlikely.

Lol reminds me of a friend from high school. We were the most competitive people in the school, and whenever I'd win, he'd retort with a "NERRRRRRRRRD!!!!!!!". :) I'd venture to say it's highly likely!!!!!!!!! :) We can make it a nice competition, which will only make us strive harder for better grades and a better understanding of nursing as a whole.

As it stands now: RED- 1 Tim-0 LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!!!!

Challenge accepted ;)

You two are funny! The Dimensional Analysis stuff is alot easier than I thought it would be.

Y'all are hilarious!!!! Sounds like your both wayyyyy ahead of me! I haven't even got all of my books yet...still debating on ebooks and trying to sell the text books that i've already purchased:p
