hello,

i am in desperate need for help! i am a nursing student in NY. I have been trying to find a hospital in NY that sponsors international student, but i cannot find any. so i called up HCCA international, and they said they could help. but i am worried that the wouldn't pay me a reasonable wage (I have a lot of student loan from my country that i have to pay off and a sister i have to support to school!). i am really worried about getting myself into something bad. does anyone know anything about this agency? please, please, help! i would really really appreciate it!

I just got offered a position at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY (Long Island) and the starting salary there is $64K and nights with the differential is $70,500.00

I think SNCH is very similar - they start in the low 60's for days. My friend just got hired there so I'll ask her.

Maimo- 72 with shift diff and bsn. -5000 without diff. that was in aug 07'. i think it went up in april though.

Hello!! I'm a student graduating in 3 weeks from Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing in Bklyn, and got offered a job at our hospital (LICH).

Base Salary: $66,861 as of 7/08;

Experience Dif: $1,000/yr up to 28 yrs;

Shift Dif: $5,400;

BSN: $1,600;

Masters: $1,800;

NYSNA hospital
