I know this is an often-used test. I've taken it three times since h.s. I am mostly an ENFP, sometimes an ISFP. Anyone else know their type? I wonder what other types people on the forum are, and if there are some patterns predominant among nurses. I'm sooo curious! Wheeeee!

I used to know my type. I was an introverted something or another. It would be interesting to take it today to see how I've changed over the last 15 years or so since I've taken it.

My father in law is really into this stuff. I took the test a while ago and it's pretty accurate. I'm an ENFJ.

It will be interesting to se if nurses tend to be certain types or if it is very mixed.

I did the personality profile and mine was ESFJ. I would venture to say it fit me perfectly:) Guess I am in the right profession.

I've taken this test over the years and I always come out the same. INTJ. So dead-on correct for me. I guess it's really rare for women, something like 2% of the population? Anyone else out there an INTJ? We can be difficult!

I took the test before Nursing School, in 2003. I am an INFP. My N and P are off the charts!!! Funny you bring this up, because I was just lately wondering how it may apply to my work. The M-B explanation of my personality type made so much sense for me. Being new to nursing, I have begun to think I should re-read Please Understand Me, (The name of the author is escaping me; the book teaches you what to look for in your communication style and preference, and how to listen to types that are different from you). I will watch this thread closely, thanks for bring it up!!!

I also am an ENFP and that test was pretty darned accurate.

I don't remember my type (maybe ESFJ?) but it compared me to the 2 stewarts (Jimmy and martha!).... you know I'm okay w/Jimmy..he was charming and sweet and funny and all - but Martha? RUN FOR THE HILLS! LOL. I guess it thinks I'm an entertainer ..... well then I need new dishes - mine are trashed! (Hey maybe it was right! I find it unacceptable to feed guests with trashed dishes ha ha..no wonder I never have any guests! Well ..there is this imaginary rabbit that comes to visit us once in awhile...)

It also said I can be difficult too. Hmm...Surely that just can't be possible (YEAH RIGHT!)

But...it said I make a good nurse. So hey, lets go with that! Its funny but really it was very close...I think to who I am. And in only 75 questions! (Oh now wait a second that was the NCLEX... maybe MB was 60?)
