My review log for NCLEX-RN exam.

Published

In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).

So far, I gathered all the resources I need:

Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.

Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.

Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,

I wish you all luck! :nurse:

In the end, our strong faith to ourselves and the Divine will make us all reach success!

Cheers!

Ohio, best of luck to you tomorrow! Let us know how it goes ... I'm sure you will be fine. Get some rest, go in confident and strong and I'm sure you will do wonderfully!!

Hey everyone! I just got back home from the NCLEX, WOW, that was difficult (not trying to scare anybody)! I had 75 questions; 14 SATA, 3 drag and drop and 2 math. Got the good pop up when I checked before even leaving the parking lot, so I'm feeling pretty good! I'm just annoyed that I tested on a Saturday, so the BON definitely won't be posting my license this weekend if I passed (when I took the PN exam, it was posted the next day).

Good luck, everyone!

Congrats to you! :) thank you for sharing your success with us. Truly inspiring.

Congratulations to you OhioITNurse!

Congrats OhioITNurse!!!

I only have tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday left to study... anxiety is setting in. I am trying my best to stay positive and just continue to work through the last few days.

Today I've done a total of 215 questions so far, hoping to do another 50 tonight. Still struggling through the Mosby's questions(60-69%), and do well on the PrepU program (75-80%).

My plan for my last 2 study days is to read through my review packet one more time, look through my med booklet, and then do questions. I feel like I'm struggling with endocrine (UGH) so will try to go over that more than the other areas.

Good luck to everyone! Hopefully by this time next week I can report good news :)

CourtneyH-RN :) Goodluck to you. You can do it.

5 days to go before my big day..

Im keeping up with some questions as i am at work lately, and i keep getting low scores which gets me to anxiety mode.

Please pray for me guys, i just hope i'll have the courage and knowledge to take over this exam...

June 18-22

Questions questions questions!

My biggest weakness is SATA questions so i'll be focusing on that.

Also will glance at exam cram book tomorrow for some last minute study (this is actually what i did for my tests when i was in college)!

Goodluck goodluck!!

Hey all! I guess my previous post had vanished! lol

Anyway, so.. I wont take my exam this coming Saturday.

I figure I REALLY wasn't ready yet, so that being said, I will take it after 45days.

I know it sounded strange, but i just dont wanna have that awful feeling if I'll take it and then fail.

Alright, I'll keep everybody updated after Saturday. good luck to everyone!

And thanks to----@mcunanan for the concern, i really appreciate it!

Lets do this! Four weeks off to work! Here I go!! Woot woot!

@one1morestep

I had the same feeling on my first take. It really felt weird and I kept thinking I wasn't ready. I wanted to resched my exam but unfortunately, I found out that you should at least call them 7 working days (in my country) prior to your exam. So I took the test with "I'm not ready for this" in my head. Results came and so I was right. Anyway, I just wanted to say you did the right thing there. We have to be mentally prepared for this test. :D
