My review log for NCLEX-RN exam.

Published

In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).

So far, I gathered all the resources I need:

Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.

Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.

Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,

I wish you all luck! :nurse:

In the end, our strong faith to ourselves and the Divine will make us all reach success!

Cheers!

June 23// It was a really strange day for me, all day I've been trying NOT to think about the exam I missed.

Good thing it was over, NOW is the important thing.

I'm moving on with my review, again. I have to wait for 45days for the next one.

Study plan this time is to get MORE familiar with contents..

I'll be using books (quite a lot of it) this time.

Countdown: 45 days to go!

*im wondering if I should make another thread for this time?

What do u guys think?

*anyway, goodnite nurses!

I had the same feeling on my first take. It really felt weird and I kept thinking I wasn't ready. I wanted to resched my exam but unfortunately, I found out that you should at least call them 7 working days (in my country) prior to your exam. So I took the test with "I'm not ready for this" in my head. Results came and so I was right. Anyway, I just wanted to say you did the right thing there. We have to be mentally prepared for this test. :D

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I posted. I think the last time I posted, I was stressed and trying figure out how to study.

Well I took my test on June 26th and passed with 75 questions!! I had 13 SATA, 1 dosage, 1 exhibit, and 3 pictures. I was so Nervous 2 days prior. I did absolutely nothing the day before the test. The day of the test I tried to look over lab values and infection control. I did that for about 15 minutes and then I got sucked in to watching reality tv lol. 2 hours before the test, I had an argument with my boyfriend, so now my mind was completely off the test. Then when I arrived, he prayed over me and I wore my mothers necklace. I took my exam and 30 minutes later I was done. I shocked my self! I did the pvt trick at least 100 times and yesterday my coworkers found out before I did and I was given my RN badge which I wore proudly for the last 4 hours of my shift. Now I am a nurse!!

Everyone should breathe before this test because it's not as hard as people make it seem. It's all bout how you the the test!! I will post later how I studied and my feelings during and after the test so I can help ease the nerves of some people!! This post was awesome, thanks for having me

missmedschool :yeah:awesome! congrats rn:nurse:! :yeah:

:uhoh3: This Nclex review is really turning me into a different person  My friend even told me to stop getting mad. ugh! Ive never wanted anything in my life so bad. I really want to pass but sometimes when I think about it I feel like its never gonna happen like its too good to be true. I know I know Im so negative :uhoh21:I wish its easier for me to be positive. sorry just venting.

Anyway I have been studying a lot. I have finish answering all the alternate questions on Saunders. Doing daily SATA and Kaplan QT here are my scores:

QT1 75q: 75%

QT2 75q: 80%

QT3 100q: 68%

QT4 150q: 72%

QT5 150q: 62%

QT6 200q: 71%

hmmm.. I need to study my infection control. I was studying it 2 days ago but I think I need more info. I need to study more in general.

I think I'll save the 7th one till Im really close to my test (still waiting for my ATT). I wasnt even suppose to do QT6 yet but I was curious :lol2:

OMG 4 people who post here passed already...:D I really wish I can pass too..
