My math grade!

I took my first college class after 15+ years this semester....it was Algebra...not even the Algebra I need as a pre-req, the one before it....I wanted to ramp up a bit and really it was a test for me, I've NEVER done well in Math, I don't think I've ever gotten more than a C for a semester.

Anyway, I got my grade for the class.....you'll never guess.....I got a 100.2!!!!

Now it was the only class I was taking (as I was working)....but still.

I think my overwhelming feeling is not even happiness, it's relief! It's like validation, that just maybe I can pull this crazy scheme off

Anyway, I just thought I'd share.

Peace,

Cathie

Great job, Cathie!:balloons:

I'm sure that is a great feeling!

Keep up the good work!

Diane:yeah:

:yelclap: :yelclap: Great job!

Thats wonderful. I am waiting to find out what my math grade is for the semester, it should be posted either around midnight or later in the day tomorrow. I'm walking a VERY fine line and I do not think that I passed:crying2: We have to have an 80 or above or we fail!

I'm so glad that math finally clicked for you. I hope the same thing happens to me eventually. Any tips?

Congrats, and keep up the good work.

Sometimes our motivation helps us do things we never thought we could!

Good luck in your future classes! :)

WONDERFUL! Congratulations

Keep the good work :)

Hope things turn out well for you....unfortunately, no tips other than doing some Math everyday....I did the extra homework problems, did the problems on the CD that came with the book, and went on the internet to find more practice problems....of course this was all motivated by terror that I'd fall behind and fail:cool:

Best of Luck!!

Oh and thanks for the good wishes everyone :)

Peace,

Cathie

Thanks for the good wishes but I failed.:o Ugg! I guess I'll be taking it over this summer.

It was only pre algebra, I don't know how I will ever get through math to get into a nursing program. I did great in all of my other classes, but I just don't understand math. Guess I better get a tutor huh?

Great News! Congratulations to you ;)

Congratulations!

I've always struggled with math.

You are doing the right thing. Take the hard classes one at a time. That way you can fully concentrate on it and give it your all. Keep up the good work ;)
