This is a discussion on Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles - Accelerated BSN applicants for Summer 2013. I was not able to find any discussion forums on this, so I thought I would start one!

I have recently applied to MSM's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2013...and I wanted to see if there is anyone else out there as eager as I am to hear back! :)

aleong29- I am in So. Pas and even on my interview date which was in rush hour it only took me half an hour. while the 110 seems intimidating I think we're in good shape. worst case scenario- we can always hop on figueroa the whole way. look forward to meeting you

Superfryk & Jamooode: Our classes will start on May 6. Orientation will be held on April 29 & 30th. We have to reserve our spot by March 5th by putting down a deposit. Hope this helps!

Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I am a part of the fall cohort set to graduate in August! If you have time and haven't taken Bioethics yet, I highly suggest you take it now at Taylor University online (https://online.taylor.edu/catalog/course-details.shtml?identifier=aaeaa9f8-340e-4f70-87a1-2a06ebf81dbb&catId=9413b5f0-7f6d-44d8-ab60-141470f2582e). You can do the course at your own speed but it has to be completed before your courses at MSMC start. I did it in 6 weeks but one girl in my cohort completed it in 2 weeks. It will save your sanity during your junior semester.

I also suggest you start a Facebook group for your cohort so you can start getting to know one another.

Thanks for the suggestion! Question: Did you get any holidays off? I.e. July 4th, Memorial Day, etc
