(I was told we'll have almost the whole December for winter break so I'm guessing Fall sem will end around late Nov or early Dec)

SPRING 2014 - no idea yet :)

Superfryk & Jamooode: Our classes will start on May 6. Orientation will be held on April 29 & 30th. We have to reserve our spot by March 5th by putting down a deposit. Hope this helps!

Hi aleong29, do you know if the deposit has to be postmarked by the 5th or received? And also, did your deposit form said the deadline was the 5th??

For some reason the document on the MyMSMC portal indicated it was 2/22/13 and that any late payment would result to being placed on the waitlist :bluecry1:

Ltho: I'm not sure, I tried calling them earlier today but nobody picked up. If anything, I'll just hand deliver my deposit tomorrow.

@KhristaDalino - For the New Grad programs, my understanding is that you are working as a nurse and getting paid during your time in the program.

@larapn - My Cohort has not lost anyone because of a failed test but we have lost 3 people so far because they did not pass a class. If you fail a class (75% or below) then you can drop back to the next cohort and continue with them. However, during your first semester, you will have a couple clinical skills days with exams (specifically Enteral/Parenteral/IV meds) on those days, you will have additional tests and you need to pass with a 75%. If you do not pass, you will need to remediate with your clinical instructor and may need to take the exam again. We did not lose anyone one these days but the cohort ahead of us did lose one person on the IV day.

Hi superfryk, I was wondering if you can share what was included in your acceptance package. I am still awaiting mine as it was sent to an incorrect address. I have submitted my tuition deposit and will contact MSMC on Monday if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow. However, I've been so anxious :X and was wondering what the next step is. Please do share, I'd so appreciate it! :)

I got the original package with t-shirt and a 2 page brochure along with acceptance form to fill out. Nothing since but an email welcoming me. Ill let you know when I get more details...

Superfryk: I haven't seen a Facebook page yet, but it'd be nice to have one soon! Good to hear we should be getting packets soon! I'm waiting to know what our next steps are!
