This is a discussion on Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles - Accelerated BSN applicants for Summer 2013. I was not able to find any discussion forums on this, so I thought I would start one!

I have recently applied to MSM's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2013...and I wanted to see if there is anyone else out there as eager as I am to hear back! :)

I got in too!!! Does anyone else have a child under the age of 1? Hoping I won't be the only one with this dilemma :) So excited!!

I dont have a child under the age of one but I have a 3 year old and am a single mom.... so, we may be somewhat in the same boat (though i'm guessing i get more sleep than you do).

trebleclefmama- just my personal input- if you are looking at pre-reqs I would suggest going the community college route- MSM is expensive- save the money for when you're actually ready for a nursing program.

Hey guys- so, just wondering- do you get official acceptance letters, orrr?? I only found out I was accepted b/c I got an email from the IT department upgrading my credentials for login. When I changed to 'student' and went through the process I could see that I was accepted. I guess I'm just wondering if we will be getting some sort of info packet?? like a 'what to do next'?? or should that all be covered somewhere in the portal? thanks.....

That's the same way I found out too. I'm sure they are sending out acceptance letters and packets in the mail soon!

chchae1979- I sure as heck hope so b/c that's how I interpreted it! Hehehe.... hopefully if they mailed out stuff on the same day we will get something today or tomorrow (at least those of us that are local) where is everyone coming from? I live in South Pasadena so not too bad a commute so long as its not rush hour. Oh man I am so excited!!!
