Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles AccBSN 2013 Applicants

This is a discussion on Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles - Accelerated BSN applicants for Summer 2013. I was not able to find any discussion forums on this, so I thought I would start one!

I have recently applied to MSM's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2013...and I wanted to see if there is anyone else out there as eager as I am to hear back! :)

I didn't get a sense of that in our phone chat. It was very positive vibe that I sensed from her. Nothing to the effect that getting it pronto would hurt my chance with an interview. (BTW...as soon as I got off the phone with her, I went and ordered a next day transcript).

Thanks for your posting! Its such a relief to know that the interviews have not yet started and that we all have a chance of being granted an interview. I also requested my transcripts since I was afraid that I wasn't called bc I was missing grades. Best of luck!

Got mine yesterday- woohooo!!! Thing is I have been SUPER sick in bed for over a week now. Otherwise I would have run down there today to interview. Eeeeeeee!!!

I am soo excited I got the email as well. I wonder if people get rejected after completing their interview.

Hi everyone! I had my interview today. It was very short and to the point. I didn't have my transcript with me and I also forgot to send in my last grades. She just made a note of what my grades were and told me to make sure I send those in asap, which I already had. It was definitely hard to get a read on the interview since it was so short, but she told me that it takes them 7-10 days to make a final decision. Good luck to everyone who has an interview coming up!

Snowyshan- thanks for letting us know! I have to be honest- when they said the interview was only 15 minutes I was a bit concerned- how are we supposed to sell ourselves in just 15 minutes?? Good to know we should hear within 7-10 days though. thx!

Congratulations to anyone receiving any acceptance news. I have been blessed to receive mines today at the myMSMC portal. After a few final transcripts that finally trickled down into admissions, I finally got the great news today. I hope to see everyone and hear about their good news soon. Let's make this May cohort a great class. Let's work together and get out there helping people right away. Study hard, learn well, and be part of something great...a nurse.

I too just got accepted! CONGRATS EVERYONE. I am so excited.

Hoping to apply for their pre nursing program but am having a hard time getting them to reply. Anyone know how it works? I have zero prereqs, and was wondering if they offer online courses for the pre reqs... Thanks in advance :) and congrats to those who were accepted!!
