Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2021

Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

I saw that too. According to the syllabus, there are HESI practice questions we need to do & then we take the HESI exam. Maybe its for the AAS students

I hope you’re right. I would really like to never see a Chem or Physics question in my life again..!!

I've never even taken physics before. If we do have to take the HESI exam, I'm screwed

Guys, there are no Physics/Chemistry questions on HESI...

Hmm, I’ve heard most schools that do not have physics as a pre-req would not make you take the physics component of the HESI. Anyone know for PSON in particular? I’m also reluctant to take patho or pharm for a school I have not yet heard from... :(

Hi, I am new to this thread and finishing up my application currently. A few questions that people may or may not know the answer to 

 

1. Can you be accepted with cumulative GPA under 3.25 (I had a 3.19) 

2. Can we submit app without completing BLS certification? I have a class scheduled, but I'm eager to submit. 

3. What is the class size they are accepting?

Hey, everyone! Grateful for those current students who have chimed in here... I'm curious if there's a forum/place where graduates sell/give away their used textbooks to current students? Other than renting, are there ways to pass along old books that recent graduates might no longer need? Thanks in advance for any tips...

Hey Hey! I think they will consider your application if your GPA is under 3.25 as long as you did well in your prereq courses. Although I don't think the application service will allow you to submit without having a BLS certification. And I believe the class size is around 185 at least thats what Google says.
