Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

They will look at your application as long as you have no more than two classes in progress and once your application is verified through Nursingcas. 
I was given a conditional acceptance while I had two prerequisites in progress and was accepted before the deadline. 
Do not give your reference the application deadline. It’s best for them to fill it out as soon as possible so that Nursingcas can verify your application. Example if you give your reference the link on September 13 tell them the deadline is

September 17th.

hey, hope everyone is doing well! I am applying for PSON but I'm a little discouraged given they really want experience and volunteer work. I don't know if anyone has gotten in with no volunteer work or medical jobs. I work as an aide for my grandmother and I'm a cs rep as well. Aiding my grandmother id say is some sort of experience since she is bedridden so I aide in everything. Has anyone been accepted in a similar situation?? My science prereqs GPA is not the best. 

My stats are 

Chemistry with Lab - B

Human Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab- B

Human Anatomy and Physiology II with Labs- B

Microbiology with Lab- B

Nutrition- A-

Human Growth and Development- A

Ethics- currently taking

General Psychology- A-

Statistics-A

grade-wise you are in great shape, I know some people in my cohort who have no medical experience and are still in the program. The questions they ask on the application make sure you write a great mini-essay. Show them your personality there. 

Also if I can give one piece of advice to any newcomers take advantage and take patho or pharm online once you get accepted. It will be your biggest regret if you don't do it. You will be taking 5 classes in your first semester of nursing school and it honestly is  ALOT still doable but just a lot.

I know its kinda late but did anyone take pathophysiology at CUNY medgar and have a copy of the syllabus?
