Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

I would definitely reach out to Tuan about that. All transcripts are supposed to be sent in by the 9th, not just completed unfortunately.

Hey everyone, I just have a question regarding the application process. So I still have one prereq I'm currently taking. If I start the application, I can't submit it until I have a grade? Would it be better to wait until I finish the fall semester then submit the application since it will remain incomplete? would appreciate some advice.

Hey you can still apply with prerequisites in progress as long as they are done by the schools deadline. On Nursingcas you’re able to indicate if you have classes in progress. 
When I applied I had two prerequisites in progress.

Oh great, thank you! but they won't look at it until the class is completed right? Do you know if they start looking at applications after the deadline or before that? My reference asked when the deadline for the letter is but I'm not sure should it be when I submit my application or the application deadline?

Some people were accepted before the application deadline and others were accepted afterwards regardless of prereq status. It really depends on when they look at your application. If you submit before you complete your class, they may ask for an update of grades later on. In this last cycle, they said they accept on a rolling basis and they look at the applications in the order that they were submitted but some people who submitted their applications later heard back before people who submitted them earlier. For your reference, it really depends on when you want your application to be in but I would not advise having them complete it right before the application deadline if you are able to have your application in earlier.
