  1. Hi thanks for creating the thread. I am planing on applying soon as I graduate December so it's still too early for me to apply now. Have you heard anything back yet?
  2. Hi guys do you know when the fall 2022 new grad positions will be posted?
  3. Hi guys I'm from cohort 8, anyone of you could share what the last semester is like? Do you need to do a lot of writing, care plans, vsims and stuff like that? I only know we will have 2 clinicals. Much appreciated.
  4. Hi guys, I am from C8, did you guys allow to bring guests for your white coat ceremony in March? If allowed, how many guests could you bring? Thankssss
  5. School literally changed its guideline within 2 weeks, so don't hurt your brain trying to figure this out, we are currently doing exams, labs, etc in person only, classes can be virtual or in person
  6. Sneakers are totally fine. White is the required color.
  7. Last year I applied 10ish days before deadline and I got in. For fall 2021, we had about 120ish students to begin with
  8. @MLM2 OMG that's soooo helpful, thank you! Cause as you know there are so many group assignments and papers to write at level 2 for EBP and psych has many writings, group poster, adult I has concept map, handout, and all the nursing care plans, especially now towards the end of the semester, so much due
  9. Hi guys. Greetins from cohort 8, quick question Did any of you who are taking peds/ob, adult Heath II and geopolitics could kindly let me know if you are having a lot of group assignments and a lot of paper to write ? Thx
  10. I give it a 8 personally speaking. A lot of self-learning/self-studying, some inconsistency here and there. Sometimes can be confused as different professors teach you different things in terms of labs. Email reaponses are slow, but I understand people can be busy, also not allowed to review exams that's bothering us the most. lab time is not enough, etc. Otherwise, I like it. We have mentorship here that you can be paired up with a mentor from previous cohort and he/she can help you through the program. We have student representatives that can voice our concerns and communicate with the faulty, etc.
  11. I like paper books too, but it comes with $50 extra cost per book so... LOL It gives you anywhere from 12 months to 24 months subscription time depending on how long you need it for per your program's requirement. So they can be expired.
  12. Last semester, we stayed online for all didactic classes including exams. However, it's indecisive for this semester, as of now, we are online until end of this month and will wait for CDC guidelines from Feb. So I can't tell you for sure and it's gonna be subject to change. In regards to labs, labs are all in-person, we went to labs several times during first semester, from this semester, we start clinicals, it's only gonna be mount sinai hospitals and it's mostly in NYC.
  13. I took both pharm or patho at PSON cause I didn't realize that I could take those two classes beforehand LOL. That's why I knew pharm's hard. You don't have to buy scrubs from PSON, you can buy anywhere you want, just make sure it's the required color.
  14. I don't have paper books LOL, we use Coursepoint for e-books and course assignments, you literally have to buy from the website and enroll in your classes. Although you have the options to buy paper books for extra costs but I didn't.
  15. If you can only take patho or pharm, I'd choose pharm, because this seems harder in pson, and it comes with proctored HESI exam that's hard to prepare ahead of time. I've heard classmates from my cohort failing pharm.
