  1. Where did you find this year’s catalog?
  2. Yep! You just have to click "students start here" and enter the info that is in the acceptance packet. Then I did the drug screen through LabCorp because that was the only accepted lab in my area.
  3. I was able to use the link in early Feb and it just let me log into my account today. I would recommend scheduling the drug screen now because the lab code they give you expires 2 days after you submit the background check. I had to reschedule mine a few times because the labs near me were booked so far out and I didn't get a new code in time so it was stressful ?
  4. I chose it because it is hospital based, so I figured they are probably used to having students and it will make for a better clinical learning experience. I also remember them saying during an info session that a lot of students end up finding jobs within Mt Sinai which is reassuring.
  5. You get 2 weeks from when you receive your acceptance letter. It is short if you are still waiting on other schools but if you know you want to accept then it’s fine ?
  6. Happy to share my stats. My undergrad degree is in nutrition and I had a 3.51 GPA, but I took most of the prereqs at community college after undergrad. I did a 6-month internship with a non-profit and have been working in an administrative healthcare role for a bit over a year. I had my BLS certification when I applied but no direct patient care experience. Here's what I got for my prereq grades: Philosophy - A Nutrition - A- Chem - B+ Psych - B+ Lifespan Psych - A A&P I and A&P II - A Microbio - A Statistics - A Good luck with the application!
  7. thank you for the tip! I'll look into taking pharm first. I know the program is hybrid but how often are you actually going in for classes/clinicals? I am trying to work out where to look for apartments and don't want to have too long of a commute.
  8. Ideally I want to try and finish both but I want to start with patho at least. Are you going to try and do both as well?
  9. I got accepted after posting this as well ? I think I will also take patho and pharm, I was looking at doing them on portage learning since that was mentioned in some of the previous threads.
  10. I haven't seen any threads for the Mount Sinai ABSN Fall 2022 entry yet so I figured I would make one. I know the deadline isn't for a few months but the application has been open since August. Has anyone who already applied heard back yet?
  11. And I just went back to the UW website and realized they aren't doing med calculations this year! So just brushing up on writing skills I guess ?
  12. I've been reading through some of the old UW threads on here and it looks like these two resources are going to help with the med calculations: https://w3.RN.com/uploadedFiles/RN/Kaiser%20Med%20Calc%20plus%20test%20tips.pdf http://www.dosagehelp.com/ Good luck to everyone who applied!
