Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2020

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

I received an email on 3/9 that interviews were canceled that week and will be rescheduled.

Did you apply for the Summer? I'm wondering if they are communicating with the Summer applicants first even though the Summer and fall will be combined...

Hello

does anyone know about the Summer decisions yet? I just received emails stating that the fall deadline will be extended to May 20th. But they didn’t mention anything about Summer

I received an email on March 3 for me to come to interview on March 11. I originally applied for the Summer 2020 start (then received an email some time ago that there would be no Summer 2020 start and my application was being moved to Fall 2020). Then with the COVID-19 I received a follow up email (on March 9) saying that my interview was cancelled because of unforeseen circumstances and they would reach out to reschedule a date and time.

Since then I haven't heard from them! When I went and spoke to ------------------- in the fall, she told me they typically send out decisions in April and I am hoping that remains the same as I haven't heard back.

Hi! I spoke to -------------------- yesterday and she told me she has no idea when decisions will be sent out due to everything that is happening. She said to to reply all to the email that was sent about postponing the deadline and ask if they know when decisions will be sent, but I felt bad bothering them. I applied for fall so the decisions may come out at different time but it seems like everything is a bit up in the air as to when we’ll find out.

Be persistent. There are no classes happening at the school right now so they are a captive audience. You are about to make a huge investment, a few emails are not a bother! Decisions for the fall start came out for some students last year around April if that helps.

I received an email yesterday that my original interview was rescheduled for next Thursday and they're conducting the interview via zoom.

Seems like they are trying to stay on the path right now, has anyone else gotten an email to reschedule their original interview?

(I originally applied for Summer 2020, but they moved my application to Fall 2020 after they sent the email that they were opening a new facility and wouldn't be having a Summer session)

Yes, I received one as well. They said they’ll send a meeting ID next week.

Hi I'm new here and was wondering if this is for the Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. I just got an acceptance, and I'm so confused as to how they are notifying people and everything. Given the circumstances with COVID-19. I hope everyone is safe.

hey everyone. I have been following all of these posts, and I also applied to what is now the Fall 2020 program, from the original Summer start. I applied by the priority deadline back in early January and just found out yesterday that my application was not yet "verified" due to missing one reference . I hope they will still review my material in time. I have heard very mixed things about this program, such as the quality of the education being good, but that they are HIGHLY unorganized. Even though its still in my top 3, it does concern me a bit. Has anyone heard back yet, had an interview, been accepted?? Would love to hear other peoples feedback.
