Hi everyone, just wanted to start a thread for those of us that applied for Mount's Fall ADN program. The application deadline is coming up next week (4/01/19) and just wanted to keep in touch with everyone that applied for this Fall.
Good luck everyone!

I never had to retake one of the math exams but I’m pretty sure they’re the same ones. Do you have another means of contact?

What cohert did you apply for?
I called them last week and they told me they let applicants know 3 months after application due date. I’m currently finishing up my Chem and philosophy course right at a GCC. If I don’t get into this term I am just going to reapply for the fall 2020. Applications for that come out next April. I’ll keep you posted ! Good luck to you !

Yeah they said that you can play when you still pending courses. I only have two left before the spring term start. I think as long as you finish your prereqs before the term begins then you’re okay. I’m an LVN so I’m doing the bridge program and from what they told me in the orientation it is around 31000. But I’m sure it’ll be a little more including fees and everything. That 60k might be for the ADN only without the bridge.

NP! Feel free to ask me any questions! Ugh it's so stressful trying to get into a bridge program. I applied for GCC as well but I got denied because my science credit total didn't meet their requirements. So I'm taking chem now to make up those 2 credits. They said that I can leave my application on file for next term and resubmit my transcript. It should be a 1 1/2 for LVN-ADN. There is a wait list but I'm not sure how long and they didn't talk about it during the orientation. I read on their website and it said:
ADN Applicant Waitlist Procedure-
If selected for the waitlist, it will be for the term to which you have applied
Applicants will be moved from the waitlist to admit status by the ADN department if space becomes available for the term to which you have applied
Applicants will be notified when the waitlist is closed
Applicants not removed from the waitlist after the closing of the cohort are welcome to reapply to the ADN program
Formerly waitlisted students will not be offered priority consideration for future file reviews
Thank you! It’s so frustrating in CA. I went to a info session for LA county school of Nursing LVN bridge program and it was depressing hearing how hard it is to get in. You literally need a 4.0 and a 90 on the teas to make the cut in LA. I’m seriously considering MSMU, I didn’t want to pay that much but the competition is crazy for community colleges. I still have 2 more classes to go before I can apply .

Save money and go to a different school. The ADN program is under review and may lose its accreditation.
