No problem, this is what I’m doing as breaks from nclex studying. I’m not selling any of my books but I’m sure you can find used ones on amazon.

1: form a study group, it will save you. Don’t buy the books right away because sometimes you’ll get the ebook for free. Be prepared to do a lot of self teaching. 2: You have two attempts to pass the dosage calculation tests, if you fail both you take the quarter off and have to remediate/retake the course. Other than that, if you end up with a 75% or higher you’ll be good in terms of classes. 3: I only know of 3 students being dropped from the program due to grades. We started off with 34 and graduated with 30 (one student had to retake a course for missing a mandatory sim day).

Hey, so for monthly payments they take the cost of tuition for the semester+school fees+$60 fee for using the payment plan and divide it by four. I think the first semester comes out to around $4000 a month. After that it ranges anywhere from $2,000-$2,700. I think the LVN-ADN program is around 1.5 years. I believe they join one of the classes already in med surg 2 or later. Clinical dates depend on your instructor and clinical site. Sometimes you'll be double days every other weekend, double days every weekend, or either saturday or sunday only but every week for 8 weeks. The hospitals I remember on the list were LAC/USC medical center, California, Huntington Memorial, Glendale Memorial, Kaiser, St. Francis, Torrance Memorial. Im unsure if the school secured more locations for the cohorts behind us.

Definitely not hard to pass but we did have two students fail out of our cohort early on though.

They also increase tuition every year. Right now it’s like $973 a unit, first semester you’ll take 12 units, which ends up being around $11,676 before any school fees. Like mlena said, keep your options open.

Hey, I wouldn’t worry too much about your teas score. As long as it’s above the threshold and you have decent grades, you should get accepted.
