I have a close friend of mine at uni called Dangar (pronouned danger) and i think it is pretty cool myself - hahha just thought about what her patients might think when she introduces herself...

As long as her last name isn't "Slee" she'll probably be alright. :wink2:

Specializes in NICU.

Haunistie

for a girl, pronounced "Honesty"

Kinda weird.

My hubby delivered a baby named:

Placentae'

I have a cousin named:

Mason

Went to hs with another girl named

Nakia and Zola

Have a cousin named Rainey and a friend Windy

My son's name is mason... I didn't realize it was strange.

had a friend whose father was born on Christmas Day. His first name was Murray ...you guessed it, middle name "Christmas"...."Murray Christmas".

Have a niece named "Tisha"

I met an x-ray tech with a bad attitude. I think it had to do with his last name. It was Pister. He was Mister Pister. I think wearing that name alone would have been enough incentive to send him to Medical School. Result= Dr. Pister. a little easier title to wear. His attitude would probably have improved as well.

coworker does a lot of foster-parenting. One woman had 3 kids and named them Justis and Kord, (can't remember the babies name) I think they were all boys. Also, have heard that frequently the babies born in one "clinic" often name them after things they hear in the delivery room by medical staff. Not kidding, lady parts was one of them. Don't know if this one is true (hopefully not), but heard Shithead was a name (told it was pronounced Shuh-theed)
