Sounds like you are a nurse to me!! Although you could use an outlet for your stress and EAP was a wonderful suggestion. I have had long standing anxiety problems and never saw a professional about it (probably should have). I am kind of a control freak in regards to myself. I force myself to calm down, take a few deep breaths, step away from the situation for a few moments, and clear my mind. NO ONE IS PERFECT Also, if your manager gives you Kudos then you must be doing a fine job. As nurses, I think we are constantly beating ourselves up because we can't do everything in one shift-- gee, wunder why?! haha Anyway, just know we understand and we are here for u--but do seek some one-one help------avoid pills if you can
