I just can't imagine giving birth to a beautiful baby girl and then bestowing her with a name like Dung.

Thank you for quoting your info's source!
It's difficult to imagine the attention that will be drawn to these precious little ones by their parents' choices in their young lives.
I remember shuddering at the thought of little girls going through life with such 'masculine' names as Madison, Taylor, and Bailey. But those names seem to have caught on. There was a time in the last century when the male names of Joyce, Meredith, and Beverly were bestowed upon baby girls. They have obviously caught on and been monopolized by the fairer sex!
Somehow, though, I don't foresee a positive trendn in the name 'Dung,' for either gender!
I forgot to mention that I know someone named Synnovia. Probably not a strange name if your in Russia, but I doubt she will ever meet anyone with the same name.
Everyone calls her Snow.
I can't remember the name of the movie because it is so old, but Darrly Hannah plays a mermaid and they name her Madison because that is the name of the street at the time. :) I thought at the time that it was a cute name for a girl and even thought of naming my daughter that. Of course, I was only a little girl myself at the time.
