  1. It is an ob/gyn specialty clinic with some primary care mixed in. The base for the first 2 years is 95,000. Starting in the third year, I will be paid $28 per RVU up to the 95,000 then everything over that will be split equally with the "supervising" doctor.
  2. So, I was offered a job this week. Everything looks ok, it is a one page offer. However, they will give me a base pay for two years then my pay is based on RVUs. If I go above the set RVUs, I split the bonus with my "supervising dr" evenly. Does this sound right to you?
  3. I am also in OK and I am wanting to pursue my CNM. I have heard great things about ECU. I sent in my application packet to Frontier this week. So, I am hoping to hear back in the next two weeks. I went that route due to about half the midwives that I work with went there and I like the fact that I can get my women's health NP at the same time. I wish you luck in your decision.
  4. Hello Everyone!! A bit of background, first. I work at a semi-rural facility and we do 90-120 deliveries a month. Probably half of those are by c-section, repeat and emergency. Okay, when I first started at this facility, a nursery nurse and the pediatrician went to every delivery. About two months ago, the head Ped doc found a study that stated they were not needed at routine c/s. So, now, only one NRP trained RN is at most c/s. We are trying to get this changed and looking for input. I was wondering what the standard is at your facility and if you have any research articles backing up what you do. I appreciate your time. Thanks, Kelly
  5. 1/16 Choctaw here!!! We also have some Cherokee but that is undocumented.
