MJC 2018 Spring application

hi everyone i just submitted my application but i didn't receive the confirmation email. can anyone plz tell me when we can get the confirmation email????

Hey there! So first of all, at the end of April we all received an email that they were changing our student email account to a different domain (my.yosemite.edu with our W number attached). Did you activate that account yet? I had to do this when I submitted my application because PiratesNet will automatically sync your new student email to the nursing application, and this is the email that all of your correspondence with the nursing program will go through.

If you did this already, go to your inbox and change it from the tab that says "focused" to "other" because for me, my confirmation went to my "other" section.... note that "other" is different than junk/trash.

Hello everyone, my confirmation email was actually sent to my old email address. So I'll nervously be checking both emails lol.

Hi everyone! I applied this year with 84 points. I did receive a confirmation email for my application, and mine went to my new student email address. good luck to everyone who applied!

Just4kicks, I also received my confirmation emai- but only after I set up my new email account. However, it sounds like some people got it sent to their old email as well. So it definitely sounds like there's some inconsistency with the way it works Maybe try calling the AH department tomorrow?

I ended up e-mailing them, they did receive my application. I'm not sure why I never got the confirmation e-mail, I even checked through both e-mails and spam folders. Well, we should find out if we were selected to submit documents tomorrow!

Gosh, I hope so! I called them this morning and they said that the invitation for supporting documentation could be sent out anytime from the end of tomorrow until Thursday, depending on when I.T. comes in and does whatever they have to do to the online app.... I'm going crazy over here!! Lol

Haha, amen to that! I would definitely love to get into the fall semester as well. But what I'm really hoping for is an awesome cohort... I mean those are the people you practically live with for two years. I'd imagine it probably helps to make some solid friendships along the way :-)

I totally agree!!! My sister-in-law graduated from the nursing program at CSU Sac last year and she always said her classmates were like a family. I guess it makes sense!
